Mission: Outcry's primary exempt purpose is to be an outreach to youth & to homeless and street people
Programs: Youth services & evangelism-- outcry held several youth activities in 2016. The bulk of their time was spent on sorting, bagging, and labeling winter clothing for the homeless collected from multiple sources, including from outcry's pods. The youth emphasis is on character development and service to those less fortunate.
families of youth-- outcry assisted families of youth who were having severe financial problems with rent payments, food, medicine, basic supplies, and utility payments to keep the homes intact, and also assisted in providing transportation and/or used vehicles.
homeless and street people-- outcry's leadership and youth delivered over 7000 bags of clothing, ponchos, boots, blankets, sleeping bags and hygiene items to the homeless and other missions, plus prepared food and held about 140 separate nightly feedings for the homeless during 2016. Outcry has also set up 2 "pods" as collection locations for the public to donate clothing. In addition, outcry's president became chaplain of chapter 9, a vietnam veteran's organization. Outcry's president set up 2 different "tent cities" containing tents, cots, wash tubs & fire barrels to provide living situations for the homeless, including veterans.
missionaries and pastors-- outcry continued to assist missionaries and pastors (who preached to the outcry youth)and their families with medical and vehicle repair expenses in 2016.
