My daughters love spending time at Our Nawakwa with their Girl Scout troop! Last year at camp, they learned how to collect sap for maple syrup, how to respectfully raise and lower the American flag during the several flag ceremonies they took part in, how to safely cook hotdogs and roast marshmallows over the fire, how to be more independent and sleep away from home/without Mom & Dad... They spent time outdoors, going on hikes, swimming in the lake, observing bugs, and gazing at the stars. They strengthened friendships & made new ones. We LOVE our Nawakwa and they cannot wait to go back!

The camp is a beautiful wild place with comfortable accommodations. My friend and I are volunteering on work days.. I will camp with my Cadette/senior Girl Scout troop. This organization is keeping camp available for area youth, preserving local heritage.

Our Nawakwa exists to preserve Camp Nawakwa and get kids outside. Lots of opportunities for a day, an overnight or longer at camp all year round. Groups can stay in modern lodges or seasonal buildings. Hike the Ice Age Trail. Swim, boat or fish Picnic Lake. Be outside and find a place to call your own. Join us at Nawakwa.
