Mission: The mission of our house of hope k-9 rescue is to find "forever" homes for each and every dog we've rescued. The dogs in our rescue are predominanetly older, more difficult to place, medically complex or animals surrendered due to the owner's health problems or financial hardship. Our emphasis is on "quality over quantity" which allows us to provide full and expert veterinary care for each dog. While awaiting adoption in our licensed foster homes, our foster families provide proper socialization, housebreaking, obedience skills and emotional stability. Imperative to the achievement of our goals is the inclusion of our children and community.
Programs: The funds were used for health, medical care, and nourishment of our animals. Pets for peace program - to combat animal abuse and domestic violence. Paws for life hospice program - to provide comfort care to patients through dogs.
