Mission: Our family services' mission is to eliminate homelessness and strengthen our community. We do this by providing stability in times of crisis, linking people to support and resources, supporting social connectedness, and engaging our neighbors to tackle tough community issues.
Programs: Our family services has been helping to make the tucson community a better place to live, to grow up, and to grow older since 1953. Today's our family was founded through the merger of family counseling agency and our town family center in 2005. Since that time, two additional organizations have joined the our family umbrella programs including information and referral services in 2009 and new beginnings for women and children in 2012. Together, our programs have a combined history of more than 150 years of service to tucson and surrounding pima county. As a blended organization, our family provides a diverse array of services to achieve our mission. These include programs for homeless youth and families, low-income and disconnected seniors, people experiencing conflict, local non-profit and municipal organizations, and community members who need assistance identifying community resources.
