Causes: Basketball, Sports
Mission: The other side of basketball, inc. Is an organization whose mission is to challenge the individuals to refine their character, live by integrity and trust their spirt. The focus of the mission is to provide recreational and educational opportunities for children and young adults, (ages 7-18) who have such a strong passion for the game of basketball that they allow that passion to dictate and focus their life choises. The goal is to provide the opportunity for attendees to be regulary surrounded by others and to develop confidence, self-esteem, and practical life-skills.
Programs: The organizaiton provides gym space for practices and development of basketball skills, teaches good play, fair play, fundamentals,and teaches life choices. The organization provides structure for all kids from ages 7 thru the high school levels. The organizaiton has participated in various levels of basketball tournaments through out the past year.
