Imbeleko Foundation in South Africa highly recommends collaborations and partnerships with the Osei Kusi Foundation. Throughout our 2 years of working with this organization, we have been impressed with their unwavering commitment to youth and the quality of their programs.
In 2019, we had the opportunity to collaborate with this organization for a Mentorship Programme led by their Founder and CEO, Dr Kofi Osei-Kusi which brought him to South Africa in 4 quarterly intervals. The mentoring engagements were life-changing for our staff interns, high school and university students.
This organization has been a joy to work with and Dr Kofi’s positive impact continues to influence our youth in various ways including his books.
Their staff and board are organized, passionate, and dedicated to empowering youth not only in Ghana but have a vision to impact youth throughout Africa.
As the Founding Board Chairman of OKF, I deem it a great privilege to be associated with an organization that focuses on the underprivileged in society. Over the years I have seen OKF bring Joy and optimism to many Young people in our Society. Through the incredible leadership of the President, Dr. K. Kusi, I have seen OKF inspire many youth to move beyond the social and economic challenges of Society and embrace their vision and commitment to make a difference in their communities and world at large. I am extremely grateful to God for the privilege to be part of this big family.
I salute the Bigger OKF family, world over, and the sponsors for our unflinching dedication to make a difference in our world. God bless us all.

OKF has claimed its place as the leading partner for providing education support to brilliant youth made vulnerable by physical disability and financial need.
With overwhelming positive case studies, OKF has proven its knack for identifying talented individuals, often overlooked by existing interventions, and providing them with critical life-changing support.
My overall experience of the Osei-Kusi Foundation has been tremendously positive. My faith in the foundation and the work it does is absolute, not least because they are driven by values which make them trustworthy stewards, but also because they have results which clearly show that their approach to addressing this peculiar social problem truly works.
I'm Felix Nana Adjei Aboagye, I member of Osei Kusi foundation, I have been blessed by this foundation alot and words aren't enough to describe, I'm a graduate and a man vision today because of OKF.

GOD BLESS THE FOUNDER AND TEAM MEMBERS
The Osei Kusi Foundation has funded the education of the underprivileged in society and greatly impacted the youth. I was inspired to become a volunteer for this foundation after I watched a documentary about their humanitarian project at talk organised at my high school where The global CEO educated my mates and I on the importance of volunteering. I started donating to orphanages and a hospital.
This organisation has given me personally meaning to help people. It's an organisation that seeks the best in the less privileged . It has been a great joy to hear the testimonies of some of the beneficiaries and the achievements.

My experience with OKF is amazing! The founder traveled to Uganda to support our Charity, Kalekekasome foundation located in Mpigi. The OKF foundation donated books and visited our Public library.
I was invited to Ghana by the foundation and awarded, Best Volunteer in the East African region. I am forever grateful and thankful to OKF, it inspired me to serve the community more and make our world a better place.
At Osei-kusi Foundation the sole purpose is to provide financial assistance for education from primary school through university and offer mentoring, coaching, internships, character development, career guidance, and leadership development for youth with disabilities.
My job as a volunteer is to provide I.T technical assistance to the organization and help them impact lives of youths. My purpose is given a meaning when a beneficiary smile! Volunteering at Osei-Kusi Foundation has built me so many new potentials and strengthened many others!
OKF has proven to the world that lack of resources is not an excuse for not touching lives; It is amazing how Dr. Kusi and his OKF is changing our world even with limited resources. The pragamatic, efficient, God-fearing and selfless leadership of Dr. Kusi and the OKF team is making real, vissible and tangible Impact on every facet of human endeavor. We need more OKFs in our world .The Community Dev't, Mentorship programs, Prision services, Scholarships have given hope to many and making life meaningful for all. The OKF books have transformed many lives even beyond Ghana and Africa for that matter.
OKF does not need more to do more ; just our little support and prayers, and OKF will do more and more.
MAY GOD BLESS THIS GREAT VISION!!
WE NEED MORE OKFs!!
OKF DESERVES OUR LITTLE SUPPORT!!
I had the privilege of meeting the founder and CEO of OKF foundation in Accra last year where he was a speaker at a conference that brings youth all around Africa to discuss pertinent issues affecting us as a population. The teachings he gave still ring in my mind till today, his passion for the youth is unfounded, his humility is rare and he works with the kindest staff ever. I went through the work he’s been doing in Ghana and around Africa, his vision is very clear and he’s stopping at nothing to live and die for the youth. OKF foundation is fulfilling a purpose in this life time. May your capacity increase so you many reach more continents, you are cut from a rare cloth both the visionary and the staff .
Osei Kusi Foundation is an exclusively unique ministry with a special drive for disdvantaged young people. The foundation's telescopic compass identifies these young ones and offers them needed developmental assistance, lifting them from grass to grace, from positions insignificance to levels of radiant significance. This is profoundly exhibited by the impressive and heart -warming testimonies from elated beneficiaries.
Thank God for the life of the team captain, Dr. Osei Kusi and his able and gallant lieutenants.
Osei Kusi Foundation is a real life transforming ministry.
Osei Kusi Foundation sponsored my education through tertiary .
With their excellent training and mentoring I developed talent and skills I didn't know I had .With Dr .Kofi Osei Kusi's books I learnt alot . Osei Kusi Foundation is really investing in young people with their scholarship scheme for the blind ,rural outreaches and many more .They deserve all the support .
God bless Osei Kusi Foundation

Federico Chini once said, "If the private life of the sea could ever be transposed onto paper, it would talk not about rivers or rain or glaciers or of molecules of oxygen and hydrogen, but of the millions of encounters its waters have shared with creatures of another nature."
Such is the life of the Osei Kusi Foundation, the sea that has encountered and shared its life with creatures of another nature. I am but one of those creatures.
In June 2014, my team, The Surge Team, encountered the Osei Kusi Foundation when we won the maiden edition of the Community Service Awards which they organized in partnership with Selfless4Africa at the British Council. This encounter paved way for a bigger impact as we had the opportunity to touch the lives of the teenage mothers in the village of Nanketewa in the Sunyani East district of the Bono Region of Ghana.
This encounter helped not just to create a livelihood for these women through a community bakery, but it also gave us an opportunity to create a rich network with the OKF team, a network that still exists 6 years down the line.
The Osei Kusi Foundation provides a rich source of guidance for impacting the youth with a spirit of voluntarism and they die each day for this dream and those of us who have encountered them have been left with no option than to also die each day to see our spheres of contact in a better place.
I, Akwesi Amponsah Michael, is a proud product of the Osei Kusi Foundation and a firm believer in their virtues and their quest to touch and reshape the lives of the youth.
Join the OKF family today. Become an OKF Club Member and help inspire generations.

Previous Stories
Indeed I have a beautiful story to tell. My name is Hulda Antwi, a proud beneficiary of the Osei-Kusi Foundation(OKF). I met the foundation in 2012 during my first year in Yaa Asantewaa Girls' Senior High School. Even though I had successfully sailed through the first term of the academic year, I had no hope of getting funds to continue my studies since my parents were going through serious financial challenges. OKF came to my aid and sponsored my fees through out my stay in the SHS.
On completion, the foundation decided to sponsor me in the tertiary level. Both my academic and residential fees are being paid by the OKF. I have also been provided with a laptop to aid in my studies. Aside the academic support, I have practical skills in marketing and administrative work through the help of the foundation.
Through Dr Osei-Kusi's books and his personal Coaching I have become a better person and I believe I can do exploit.
I am currently a final year student at the University of Ghana, studying Agriculture Science. I am so grateful to God and Dr. Osei-Kusi for the love and care.
A successful person is not the one who has all the wealth in the world but rather the one who helps others to become better people.
Become a club member today! because someone's smile depends on you.
my name is Marrion Marxwellson and I am writing on behalf of AKROHiTECH. AKROHiTECH is a tech startup that was established with the purpose of helping young people discover their passion through career empowerment.
Our first encounter with OKF was at the 2018 version of the National Youth Volunteerism & Patriotic Award event. It is an event that is organised by the foundation to promote volunteerism and patriotism among the youth.
We entered the competition as Generational Changers although most of the members of Generational Changers were part of the AKROHiTECH group. We were camped for about 3 days competing against other groups from the various tertiary schools across the country and we will admit that it was quite a thrilling and enlightening experience being in an environment with people of like minds but diverse backgrounds, everyone with an idea to improve the lives of people in their respective communities.
fortunately and unfortunately we were able to make it to the finals but not able to win the final price but we believe we gained something more greater that exceeded our expectation. Right after the competition we dissolved back into AKROHiTECH this time more charged and poised towards our project which was in Winneba. It involved impacting young people with IT skills.
in conclusion we would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Osei-Kusi Foundation and partners for such a wonderful and empowering expedition . We would also like to say a special thank you to Doctor Osei Kusi for being a great inspiration, thanks to him we were able to take that courageous step which subsequently resulted in us attaining success. Its our wish that every youth in Ghana and beyond get to experience the same exposure we received from him. Hes been and continuous to be an inspiring example to emulate, an epitome of selflessness.
Dr Osei-Kusi has built an impactful organisation that has touched the lives not only of children, young people and communities in Ghana but globally. Since engaging with the Foundation as an OKF member and official speaker at their April 2018 National Volunteerism and Patriotism Awards and Conference, I have been continually impressed by the dedication of staff, sponsors and supporters alike to transforming the lives of the most disadvantaged. The Foundation provides dynamic services that aim to accelerate social impact in areas such as education, livelihoods and health, and I won't be the first to say that the organisation's work to empower disabled youth in particular through unique education opportunities is most inspirational. I am confident the Foundation will go from strength to strength in its mission and I look forward to supporting this brilliant organisation for years to come!
“Life lived for self alone is meaningless” – Dr. Kofi Osei-Kusi
I am Justine Elikplim Ametepee, an executive club card member of Osei-Kusi Foundation (OKF). I am a proud volunteer who has participated and benefited from seminars, workshops and rural outreaches of OKF. Through the foundation, I was introduced to the Duke of Edinburgh International Award or Head of State Award Scheme in Ghana in 2017 while I was in level 400 at University of Professional Studies, Accra. OKF is an award unit for the Award.
I did the Gold level of the award which consists of the following activities : voluntary service, skills development, physical recreation (all three activities require a period of 18 months), adventurous journey and residential project. For the love of children, I offered voluntary services to the primary class of my church, Ebenezer Baptist Church, to lend a helping hand to the current tutors.
As part of my skills development, I joined the church’s youth choir where we sang during our youth programs.
I signed up to a gym and fitness centre not only for the physical recreation aspect of the award but also to be in good health and shape while I did total body workouts and strength trainings.
One of the interesting and challenging activities of the award was the ten (10) days adventurous journey and expedition I embarked on with various teams of young Ghanaian volunteers to designated towns in the Aburi District in the Eastern region of Ghana. My team covered an estimated distance of 80km, hiking from Adonten SHS to Nsakye and rerouting to Amanforom. We were warmly welcomed by the people of Amanforom, as we conducted a community project to assay the level of maternal death and measures to curb it due to insufficient health facilities in the community and neighbouring towns.
We further conducted a residential project when we arrived back to our base camp at Adonten SHS. We painted and beautified the entire kitchen and pantry of the school. Indeed, it hasn’t been an easy journey but it was worth it. I have learnt life skills that my academic curriculum did not teach me.
I qualified to receive my Gold Standard Award with other award recipients after successfully completing all my activities. The prestigious award ceremony was held at the Jubilee House on 30th October, 2018. It was presented by His Royal Highness Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex with the Vice – President of the Republic of Ghana, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia. It was the most gracious and memorable day in my life.
I certainly would recommend doing the award to other young individuals since it is a long term investment in oneself and the world at large.
Osei-Kusi Foundation has played a very vital role for IFED Global especially in the area of mentorship and offering of free advisory services. Mr. Osei-Kusi being a patron to IFED has never in any way disappointed the organization. His words are soothing and full of encouragement. He has been able to impart and transform lives of many youth across the globe especially at our yearly conference IYDC. He is prompt to our request and very apt in delivery. His foundation has been able to reach out to many individuals wishing to start NGOs to keep societal problems on a sober note just like ours. His organization has been able to find solutions to problems thus projects to wipe off problems. The Osei-Kusi foundation has been instrumental in youth empowerment. The foundation has been and is timely, efficient and effective. Osei-Kusi Foundation is definitely a course to support.
My name is Ignace Atsu Agbakla. Am a proud volunteer of OKF. I serve as Photographer and Graphic Designer.
Osei-Kusi Foundation is one of the most amazing organization that is helping the youth. OKF gives hope to hopeless and put a lasting smile on millions of youth faces. I joined the Clubcard and had the opportunity to benefit from Dr Kofi Osei-Kusi Coaching sessions which helped me to start working on my dream.
OKF passion for helping youth is exceptional. I really love OKF and happy to be part of this family full of people with caring heart.
I just want to start the story today.
My first encounter with the Osei-Kusi foundation was when I was recognised as for Special Youth Philanthropy Award.
I attended the National Youth Volunteerism and Award Conference 2017 to receive the award. To me I see OKF not only given opportunity for youth at the grassroot community to be recognized but impacting lives beyond the reach of other organisation.
I can say OKF founder, Dr Kofi Osei-kusi is living his out spoken word "I live to die for the youth" . He has been a father to me after the award program. Indeed I have a beautiful story to tell.
Dr Kofi Osei-kusi before speaking at the NEXUS Global Summit in USA in 2017 and as well as the NEXUS Africa Forum in Johannesburg accepted to serve as Advisory Chair for African Youth Philanthropy Network(AYPN). He hosted the AYPN leaders first meeting at OKF and all the leaders can testify that He is this "generation father" in the field of volunteerism and philanthropy.
At our recent NEXUS Accra Salon at Holiday Inn , he was the main speaker and after the event, I could not hold my tears when I was asked to conclude. One of the participants walked to me as said 'If we get 5 people like this man the younger generation will not suffer any more". This man loves the volunteerism work, he added.
OKF indeed is committed to the mission of investing in the youth. I believe in the coming years, young people in Ghana and Africa will celebrate the great impact from the organisation.
OKF is "birthing" a new giving in Africa. through the membership Card. I pray the card membership will grow and help increase the funding base sustain the great work OKF and Dr Kofi Osei-kusi is doing.
This is just the beginning of our(next-gen philanthropists) story.....
"It is better to light one candle than curse the darkness." - Confucius.
About six (6) years ago, a special candle was lit and the Osei-Kusi Foundation happened to be it's flame. I'm Felix Brenya-Korankye, a Volunteer who works proudly with this humble but promising Foundation as a temporal Accounts Officer. Mere words are not enough for me to describe this imposing vision of this passion for the youth-filled man. I met him at church (Trinity Baptist, East Legon)through my brother in-law and I would describe it as one of the best experiences ever since. He mentored me through the realization of self worth and volunteerism and it's benefits through a couple of his many authored books, '' You are too much and Beauty in Volunteerism and Patriotism."
Many lives have been and are still being transformed through OKF. A living example is Miss Mavis Hanu, an OKF scholarship beneficiary from the Akropong School for the Blind who won this year's regional spelling bee competition in the Eastern region. Mavis represented her school as a proud beacon of hope for many children who are visually-impaired (blind) nationwide by competing against various schools in the region including Akosombo International School. A visually-impaired child beating sighted children and this is all thanks to OKF's support (affording her tuition fees, upkeep money and learning tools) and believing in her.
There are numerous testimonies to be told. Community Service Awards (CSA), Prisons Support etc and this is all thanks to the OKF Club Card members, we are able to make such impacts in the lives of the blind and the deaf.
I can boldly entreat each of us all to register as a Club Card member today to make a difference in the lives of others. As the Scriptures rightly put it, " In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ " Acts 20:35.
God bless us all.
#OKF - Investing in young people.
I am a proud Deaf Afrikan Lady and a student of the University of Cape Coast taking sign language. I am Social Worker, a member of FIDA Paralegal for Disability and the Networking and Communications Officer of the 3SL Business Group.
I met the great man Dr. Kofi Osei-Kusi at the GH Media School through my young Executive President, Isaac Kwaku Essien, a student of university of Ghana, School of Performing Arts. It was great experience when I first met Dr. Kofi Osei-Kusi, he empowered and recognized our presence more the way he addressed the youth present.
I don’t know how to thank him for bringing out the best in me. I felt great when he invited me to sing a song on his birthday because he recognized me as an “abled person”.
I am also a member of OKF club. I still have hope for my team Wonderful Deaf Ambassadors, (WDA).
Our team’s goal is to reduce the rate of deaf illiteracy, deaf beggars and promote young deaf entrepreneurs through advocacy and vocational training.
Long live OKF, Long live Dr. Kofi Osei-Kusi.
OKF is and has always being a Foundation with a heart for people. They seek to bring out the best in every single person they come into contact with. They are not only concerned with giving to society at large, but also with the personal development of the youth in the country.
Being a club member has given me the privilege of having one-on-one mentoring sessions with Dr Kofi Osei-Kusi, who has become a significant pillar in my life, pushing me on to attain greater heights and always challenging me to live an above normal life. I have learnt a great deal of wisdom from him and from the work of OKF. They have shown that they care about the welfare of club members both in Ghana and outside Ghana. My mentoring sessions have not ceased despite being in the United Kingdom currently, and all club members in the UK will also benefit from a networking dinner that will be held soon.
As the saying goes, anything worth doing is worth doing well. OKF has proved beyond doubt that they go the extra mile to put smiles on the faces of communities and individuals. Their national volunteerism award scheme, blind beneficiaries scheme, scholarships, prison and community outreaches, mentoring sessions, among many other things they do are all worth mentioning and supporting. I deem it an honour to be part of such a family, and I am very positive everyone who decides to partner or support this cause, will never regret it.
Gladys Efua Owusu is my name and I am a proud volunteer in OKF. I have never met a man who is soo passionate about the progress of the youth in Africa like our daddy Dr Osei-Kusi Kofi. My first participation with OKF was during an outreach to Dua-yeden in the eastern region and I must confess I was extremely proud of OKF for the efforts that were channeled into the outreach. OKF is also noted for professionalism, intergrity and serving one another.
OKF has the blind and deaf at heart; wow! isn't that wonderful? Recently, a blind beneficiary graduated from UCC and she's now a teacher, Glory be to GOD!! During one of our events, I listened to this blind lady as she joyfully sang,''My tomorrow will be greater than today''. OKF is truly helping her dreams come through. I entreat everyone who isn't part of OKF to sign up and become part of this wonderful family.
GOD richly bless the entire team at OKF especially our loving daddy- Dr Osei-Kusi Kofi.
I must admit that the most beautiful foundation is OKF that I am part of this great family. OKF does not only take but give back to society as a way of redistributive policy. I love this foundation and I am believing GOD for more open doors in the international arena for this great foundation.
OKF has incredible workforce who understand the core functions of what they have been called to do in our dear nation. I entreat our fellow Ghanaians to support this great course and invest more in this great foundation. Long live OKF.
FRANCIS KWASI DEI
My personal experience with the Osei-Kusi foundation can indefatigably make a whole book with hundreds of chapters but I would make it brief and short as possible.
My First encounter with the Osei-kusi Foundation was 2016 as a student at the University of Professional Studies when they organized an Entrepreneurial conference in collaboration with the Student Representative Council which was targeted to inform, educate and inspire the spirit of entrepreneurship in student. It was a life changing program and made me patronise the Foundation's Conferences on campus which played a major role in my development as a student entrepreneur.
February 2017, I partnered the Foundation as the founder/Exe. President of the Dream Insight Foundation Africa(DIF-Africa) to organise the Change Africa Summit at the National Theater. The professionalism and commitment to the mission of investing in the youth was exhibited by the The executive President (Dr Kofi Osei-kusi) and His crew. At the event many found their purpose and the need to have vision- working hard to see it materialize. The impact made by the Osei-kusi Foundation and the feedback form stakeholders, media, attendees ... Accompanied with personal encounters by executives of DIF-Africa Lead to a lasting partnership. Since then DIF-International always call for the partnership of the Osei-kusi Foundation in training and establishing young and very innovative entrepreneurs across the country and with their help we have made great impact so far.
Late 2017, DIF-Africa played a coordinating partner role with the Osei-kusi Foundation to organise the National Youth Volunteerism and Patriotism Awards and conference 2018, where I had the opportunity to work but this time very close from the inside with the Dr. Osei Kusi and His staffs. Playing this important role lead me to a true conviction that "He who smells a fresh palm wine cannot fully appreciate its sweet and smooth taste" . I experienced "A" class organised Foundation with passionate, well mannered and dedicated humanitarians called workers and volunteers. I must say the Foundation walk the talk. They solely invested thousands of cedis into the NYVPA 2018 to help build and sustain the spirit of Volunteerism and Patriotism among the youth, motivating and inspiring organisation and individuals who are impacting life's in their communities, hand-in-hand reaching to deprived communities which at a long run creates sustainability and helps balance rural-Urban infrastructural development in our Lovely Country, Ghana.
They don't discriminate when reaching out, I have encountered a number of Foundations and can vouch without any equivocation that they lead the few which pays adequate attention to the physically challenged to help them reach their maximum potential.
Through the Osei-kusi Foundation, I must say that I have developed more love for humanity, develop my qualities as a leader and a youth advocate, impressive growth in my life as a young entrepreneur.
An Akan proverb says "He who climb a good tree gets a push" I am certain without an iota of doubt that the Osei-kusi Foundation is doing a great Job and deserves our support in cash and kind to help them continue the good work.
My personal encounter with the OKF was through Community service awards 2016.
Though my team couldn't make it to the finals, I felt like, no! I need to follow this man and learn more from him and I bet you, I have never regretted been a volunteer ever since because the OKF through Doctor Kofi Osei Kusi has invested words of wisdom into my life and I see myself everyday marching in to success and my dream life.
The OKF inspired me and encouraged me to continue what am doing for the community I serve, with great passion and support from this noble foundation, I have been successful in establishing 4 companies, 1 non-profit and 3businesses.
Books that gives wisdom and put you on the hot seat to rethink through your decisions authored by the Executive President Doctor Kofi Osei-Kusi, have been made available for those who want to live a purpose driven life.
I love his books "Wisdom Filla"
I cannot describe this Foundation just with words, join me, get a clubcard, volunteer and you will simply understand me
OKF is truly investing into young people and I will recommend them a million times to the World for their great works.
Long live Doctor Kofi Osei-Kusi, Long live the Osei-Kusi Foundation.
My name Paul Quansah I am a proud volunteer of OKF. Osei Kusi Foundation has really helped me develop the role for caring for one another and boosted my level of making the right decisions in life. With the help of OKF my shyness is moved out of me. OKF has been with me physically, spiritually and financially. I recommend OKF to the youth . OKF # Investing in young people.
