My experience with OSD has been great and they are doing alot of good in the active duty and veteran community
This was amazing for our family!!!! The pizza was delicious and the game was so fun!!! Thank you so much for your kindness!!!
My husband signed us up to go to a event that OSD was having at a local pizza place. We were immediately greeted by the people from OSD that had set up the whole event. We were given stickers, magnets, t-shirts as well as tickets to a Round Rock Express game. After talking to these people for a little while we found out that a lot of people hadn’t shown up so they also gave us tickets to the local water park. They treated us with so much gratitude and kindness and they talked to us about all that their nonprofit does for our military and veterans. I can’t give this charity nearly enough credit for all that they did for my family.
I saw the work OSD was doing in it's earliest days, supporting deployed military members morale by sending games to several of my friends in Iraq and Afghanistan. It's incredible to see it's growth over the last decade and the reach that it now has to support the military and veteran community.
OSD has continued to make an impact on my life and the lives of those around me. They constantly encourage Veterans and supporters alike to continue to serve and provide a shining light amongst 1,000s of other Veteran organizations in the USA. Their team is built on helping the Veteran community, and they care about the impact of their words and actions.
All my experiences with OSD have been positive. I've heard first hand from active duty members how critically important supply drops in the field were for them and equally, how OSD support them once they transitioned out of the military. This nonprofit supports not only the Veterans but their families too with transitional services, professional development and community service. Simply put, they change lives.
OSD has made an incredible impact on the veteran community.
OSD has helped hundreds of thousands of Military members and Veterans cope with the transition process of leaving the military. OSD is there throughout the process. OSD Creates a support structure to ensure no one feels alone and isolated.
Operation Supply Drop is a vital part of my life. They serve Tens of Thousands of Active Duty Military, Veterans and Family Members each year and I am glad to be a part of this support. The 37 Teams from all over the world feed Homeless Vets and Civilians, Comfort our Active Duty and Veterans in Hospitals and their families going through Fisher Houses. They give back to the community through service such as Street clean ups, building playgrounds, working in Food Pantries and soup kitchens, and just last month Operation Supply Drop distributed 500 Hygiene kits to our Veteran homeless population in Texas. Best Organization I have ever Supported.
OSD has been a wonderful resource to many individuals both currently serving and veteran status. The leadership is passionate about truly making a difference while maintaining strong core values of integrity. As a veteran of the United States Army, I can truly attest to the servant nature of the leadership and their desire to build a better community.
This charity has given me a new lease on life. It has given the opportunity to serve again and help those in need. Without them I wouldn’t have been able to accomplish all that I have.
OSD is one of the most impactful nonprofits that I’ve had the pleasure of volunteering with!
Incredible org with the most generationally relevant mission and reach.
OSD has been awesome in pulling vets together in the Austin market, they really deliver for vets where so many others fall short.
Wonderful, well thought out and servant focused non-profit that constantly strives to improve, focusing on what today’s veterans wants & need from a variety of angles.
The focus on the individual and service impact is head-and-shoulders above other Veteran non-profits I've interacted with previously.
I have been continually impressed by the community OSD has built and relationships they foster within the veteran ecosystem in the United States.
As a veteran transitioning to civilian life, I had experience with OSD and they were quick to point out options and opportunities to me which was extremely helpful.
As a volunteer and board member, I've had the pleasure of helping numerous veterans and active duty service members as well as their families with everything from disaster relief to food drives to MWR events and more.
Overall, OSD serves a fantastic role in helping our military and our service members plus their families.
OSD is a leading veteran support charity and they help in many more ways than just doing the well known supply drop. Proud to support this charity and watch them continue to grow. The entire teams program does wonders in helping build/continue a network for veterans and their continued growth outside of gaming is doing wonders to help veterans in a multitude of ways.
OSD has demonstrated leadership within the community by building a model and network where everyone has a role. Through social engagements, professional development, and volunteerism, they've created an ecosystem that engages veterans and civilians, and gives back to the community ten fold.
I work with several different NPOs and believe OSD is among the best of the best. Their unique focus on community integration allows them to create value and impact for a diverse group of people across a number of different areas.
This Organization is phenomenal. I have been volunteering with my husband for several years now. This community has allowed us to meet some amazing people and help so many others in the process. Since we are stationed overseas, we have been doing small gaming events with our company and working closely with our family readiness group. Game nights with soldiers have been the most rewarding of them all, as it boosts morale so much. Some of these men and women have spouses and children back in the states or are going through personal issues. These little breaks from the stress of work, missing family back home, and mental health concerns can mean so much to them. This is one of the best communities someone could be a part of. Everyone is so kind and you know you have family across the globe. OSD puts so much effort in helping our active duty and veterans as well as helping the public with various community work and events! I am so glad to be a part of Operation Supply Drop as their professionalism, vision, community, and everything in between is outstanding.
