Mission: The mission of the original equipment suppliers association is to advance the business interests of automotive original equipment suppliers by providing forums to address issues of common interest, serving as a resource for industry information and analysis, promoting the interests of the original equipment supplier community, and serving as a voice and positive change for the industry. The purpose of oesa shall be to promote the best interests of its members by: - coordinating constructive dialogue, cooperative research and strategic information exchange between the various supplier industry participants, with the original equipment manufacturers (oems) and with the government entities that regulate the industry. - promoting networking and information exchange among the membership through a wide range of committees, councils, forums, product line groups, peer groups, conferences and exhibitions on the major issues of importance to members. - promoting public awareness of the importanc
Programs: The association promoted the best interests of automotive original equipment suppliers by providing forums to address issues of common interest, serving as a resource for industry information and analysis, and serving as a voice and positive change for the industry. Effective 1/1/2012 the association contributed all of its assets and activities to motor and equipment manufacturers assocation (mema), a related 501(c)(6) association that has a mission similar to that of this organization.
