Mission: Help in the elimination of unemployment, poverty, and illiteracy so that people of all colors and creeds can live their lives with greater human dignity.
Programs: The low-income home energy & weatherization assistance program: help families with low income to have heat during winter heating months, weatherize their homes to improve energy efficiency and assist with repair to non- working heat sources. This program assisted 18,921 individuals in 2017.
the national farmworker jobs program: provides employment related services to eligible seasonal migrant farm workers and their families in washington state. It is estimated that the program has assisted about 850 individuals in 2017.
other program services: community block grants, avista lirp, asset building, home investment, basic foods, educational programs and various other energy & weatherization related programs. These various programs served approximately 41,490 individuals in 2017.
