Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Mental Health, Substance Abuse Prevention
Mission: Warriors Heart Foundation's mission is to support recovery programs that address the unmet addiction, chemical dependency & PTSD needs of suffering active duty Military servicemen and women, Veterans, all Law Enforcement, Firefighters, EMTs and Paramedics. We are focused on addressing the mental and behavioral health of servicemen and women to assist our Warriors in overcoming addiction, PTSD, and mild TBI. We provide individuals and communities the tools to become self-sufficient.
Target demographics: Operation Warriors Heart Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, supports programs that address the unmet needs of suffering servicemen and women and give individuals and communities the tools to become self-sufficient. We want to build warriors that will be sustainable after our support ends, and that build upon and strengthen relationships within communities.
Direct beneficiaries per year: In 2020 we provided these services to 62 Warriors: We subsidized the cost of treatment for Chemical Dependencies and PTSD; and we assisted in providing service dogs to our Warriors, along with other program services.
Geographic areas served: Bandera, Texas
Programs: We subsidize the cost of funding for The Healing Program for millions of Warriors suffering from chemical dependency and PTSD so they can heal.
