I have been volunteering for OSV now for several years and have seen the amazing impact it has had on our community. I know there are many low income families in our community and the kids of these families can know they have food for the weekend because of Operation Full Bellies which is a great thing. I am grateful for the tireless work the people of OSV put in!
They go out of their way to make sure all donations of food clothes etc go to the people who need it most. Many families and their children aren’t able to drive to a food bank on a certain day at a certain time so they specifically drive to these people homes and drop off food and other supplies to make sure that they are taken care of.
They help everyone who needs it in the valley. I'm so greatful to have worked with this non profit in multiple settings whether it be children, families or adults. We've given food, clothing, and many other things to the community and strive to keep doing no matter the circumstances. This non profit is truly a blessing.
I moved to WA state 8 years ago and we were down and out. A struggling family of 6, with children who have disabilities, trying to find a better life. We were living with family members and needed some help. This wonderful agency took care of our family with essentials needed to survive. I was so thankful and touched that I decided to volunteer with them and it literally has changed our life. They not only provide for needy families and seniors, but they give us a sense of community. They genuinely care about their fellow humans, no matter where they come from or what they look like. I have involved our children to help and give back with them as well. We are all in this together and with humans like the people who up and run the place, and the beautiful hearts and souls who donate to make it all possible. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
