Mission: The mission of operation restoration is to educate and assist low-income families in the upstate of south carolina to work through their socio- economic circumstances, especially those related to education, home ownership, and employment. We want to make this education and assistance available with the goal of developing self-sustaining, community-building lifestyles.
Programs: As a hud counseling agency, operation restoration provides foreclosure prevention assistance and counseling under the south carolina homeownership and employment lending program (sc help). The program has assisted 104 clients in foreclosure prevention and/or those in need of financial housing counseling.
the welcome home program provides transitional housing shelter for homeless veterans. The program helps homeless veterans to develop specific and attainable life goals, seek and secure gainful employment, and prepare to reintegrate into society. In the last five years, the organization housed homeless veterans and for many, have found permanent housing and/or assisted them in receiving benefits that allowed them to become self- sustaining members of their upstate communities.
