Our son was out of control and on meds to try to control his anger. He would not accept guidance from his parents and blamed everyone but himself for bad outcomes. After more than a year at OR, he has turned around completely. The discipline and the spiritual guidance has helped him become responsible for himself and his actions. Today he is hard-working, loving, studious, funny, and most importantly, a Godly young man. He is a joy to have at home.

I have not had the pleasure of having a child in the ministry but I have had the experience of meeting these wonderful people and knowing them on a personal level. I have been to their church and I have been there around the boys in the school. The ministry shows a level of understanding of troubled youth. They make it their will to help individuals who have become "lost". They not only show them respect but they show them a level of caring I can't begin to imagine! I have had family who have strayed down the path of wrong and I wish that we would have found OR before it was too late. Their schooling includes not only books but also hands on activities. They take care of a farm and then they take what they learn in school (from books) and use it to take care of the animals. The school shows these boys that there is so much more to life then getting into trouble and going to school... They give them a purpose!

From a former student's father:

“ As men we want adventure – to take risks to accomplish. This is the way God built us.
I always appreciated how OR used this. It may start with a simple thing like – “young man – of course
you can climb that ladder into the loft, yes it’s scary the first time but you’ll be ok.” Then progresses to a trip down the Mad River, or cleaning a horse hoof, or hiking in the Smoky Mountains, or landing a steelhead.
Each valid adventure builds confidence and a true understanding of our abilities. Whereas in the video world we are the hero without doing anything real – yet our brain still sends out the same signal as if we had – training it to trust unreal ability and polluting it to the potential God build into it.

Ps. As always praying for OR both organization & individuals.”

“Operation Rebirth is truly a professional organization with many dedicated people working towards helping turn boys into men. I see so many positive changes in my son and I know that you and the staff at O.R. are primarily responsible for that.”

From a current student's father.

I have a son at Operation Rebirth right now. He was being unruley and very direspectful. His grades were suffering troubly. I had the opertunity to place him at Operation Rebirth. There an amazeing organization. They tailor there education to were there at instead of what comes next. They have tought him to be responsable for his actions and respectable to everyone. They work closely with the family so you never feel left out on any decition that is made. They have barn chores and dorm chores. They get home visits and take field trips just like other schools. They teach these boys to grow up in society and become respectable men they will be someday. My son hasn't been there long but I have already seen some change in him.
