PAR has saved my son's life! He was addicted to oxycodone and his life spiraled out of control. Eventually, he was arrested trying to buy pills. While this was a wakeup call for him, it did not solve his problem, nor teach him about his addiction and how to live a drug free life. He did have the courage to ask the judge for help. The Judge recommended Operation PAR as in inpatient in their therapeutic community.

While it has not been easy, he was committed to overcome his drug addiction. PAR gave him the tools and education he needed to be successful. There were many things he did not agree with, nor could he understand some of their rules. Slowly, as his mind became clearer and his body healthier, the logic behind PAR's methods began to make sense to him. Operation PAR is very pro-family and helped to educate our family about addiction as well.

It has been almost a year and he is still doing well. I thank Operation PAR for saving his life and giving my son back his family

Operation Par is a great place if you plan on making a lifetime commitment! What they don't do is help when you want to quit their program! My husband has been suffering for 7 days! He was removed from Par because after 8 yrs he was unable to pee in a cup. So Par decided he was dirty and kicked him out of the program! He was not dirty then and stiill is not! He is suffering from pain! Par forgets to tell you that Methadone is the hardest drug to quit! The withdrawl lasts a month and you feel like you are dying! So unless you plan on becomming a lifer stay away!

As a board member, I have had the opportunity to see first hand how much of a positive impact PAR has made in the lives of their clients. One program that is particularly valuable is the Village that allows women to live with their children while receiving treatment. They learn parenting and coping skills, as well as having time to bond with their children. There are many other valuable programs offered. PAR is an amazing organization.

I have seen first hand the difference Operation PAR has and can make on an individuals life. My Brother is 31 one years old and has gone his entire teen and adult life suffering from depression and drug abuse. He felt he had nothing to live for and lost the only girl he ever loved. The sadest part is he is so very intelligent and has such a kind heart. He has so much to offer the world yet no one ever has a chance to see it because he hides it behind his addiction. He got himself in some trouble over the summer and I believe this was a wake up call for him. He is now in an inpatient program with operation PAR and for the first time in years I have seen my Brother smile, he is genuinely happy. He is drug free and thinking clearly, getting the help he needs and taking the steps to further his life. He is even going to be taking college courses. PAR gave him an opportunity and open up their doors of help and now my brother is living and smiling again..... I can't wait to see what the future holds for him.

Operation Par literally saved my life! I went from a suffering drug addict to a valuable member of society in just a year thanks to Par. Without them I don't know if I'd be here today! The Counselors are amazing and caring and the other employees are friendly and professional. This entire experience has made me want to become a Substance Abuse Counselor or Expert. Thank you Operation Par for giving me my life back!! I have and will always highly recommend their services! They don't just hand out medication they change lives! They provide services to completely turn your life around including but not limited to counseling services, help with finding a job, help with finding help with other issues, etc. Again, THANK YOU OPERATION PAR!

The team at Operation Par is a great asset to the community. Not only have they helped thousands of people every year with their addictions, but there prevention efforts (helping kids to learn how "never to become a client” by living a life of staying free from drugs) are impressive. They are truly a gift for this community.
