Causes: Homeless & Housing, Homeless Shelters
Mission: Operation HOPE-North County works to offer a safe, caring, and supportive environment to families with children and single women experiencing homelessness as they rebuild their lives and reclaim independence.
Programs: During the 2017-2018 shelter season Operation HOPE-North County fed, housed and case managed a total of 235 unique individuals. Volunteers contributed a total of 4,884 hours of service toward the program. For the year ending june 30, 2017 housing placements were found for 64. 6 percent of the clients entering the program and another 12. 9% of clients left the shelter for other programs in the homelessness continuum of care due to pervasive challenges requiring long-term support.
