My husband, SFC (ret) Alan Hornaday & I don't have the words to express our gratitude to this AMAZING organization! We have watched OFH grow from a local group of builders providing mortgage-free homes to Wounded Warriors in TX, to an organization that is blessing wounded soldiers & their families all across the Nation! There are no better people than the founders & leaders of OFH! They are God-filled & God-led, & pass God's love to each & every soldier/family they touch! May they each be blessed beyond abundantly, just as they have blessed us!!

As an event planner, I've been honored to have helped one of my corporate event clients raise money for Operation FINALLY HOME over the last two years. Everyone I've encountered with the organization is of the utmost integrity and full of passion for what they do. Having worked with other charities with similar missions, I was thrilled to find a group of people at Operation FINALLY HOME who are eager to help those of us dedicated to raising funds for their organization. In my experience, that can be somewhat unusual. The guys at OFH just "get it." It's easier to raise money when you have great support from the benefitting organization. Fundraising can be hard, but the team at OFH makes the task a pleasure. Having been lucky enough to attend a home dedication last spring, I can tell you that the work they do is incredibly impactful for both recipients and the surrounding communities.

From the depths of my heart I say giving is always better than receiving. However, the mortgage free home my wife, six kids and I have received over a year ago is a blessing from GOD. Not having a mortgage and making it by with what my disability entitles me. This has afforded me the opportunity to help raise money for more mortgage free homes for our service members. Sharing my story of overcoming adversity physically, emotionally, mentally, and most importantly spiritually. With these in place saving vets from taking their own lives is a task I can focus on and get back in the fight for the well being of my brothers and sisters. This is an honest to GOD organization you want to help because of all they give from the heart. I am thankful to GOD everyday being able to put my prosthetics legs on get out of bed and spend time with my family under my roof. A house that love, respect, and dignity has built. For all those of you who wonder where to put your money to help support. With love I say Operation Finally Home.

My name is Nicholas Brown, I am a medically retired US Army Soldier. I completed 4 combat tours and was retired with a 90% disability from the DOD and VA. I was first introduced to OFH by my AW2 (Army Wounded Warrior) advocate in WTU (warrior transition unit) during my 2 year recovery and medical retirement. We started the process to apply with an attitude that being gifted a mortgage free home too fantastic to imagine, and the people at OFH never promised anything and were honest and forthright from the very beginning of the process. Over roughly 8 months we provided all the information they required and met with people from OFH numerous times. They explained the process and how we would be vetted by the board and a retired General, they double checked everthing and spoke to my command.
We received a phone call and we're asked if we could attend an interview in San Antonio with board members. They flew my family and I down and that night suprised us with a custom built home in front of about 1000 people, We were absolutely floored! 2 years later we still are, and I am still trying to understand,"why us?"
Even 2 years after being gifted the home, they remain in my families lives, they have become family!
They promised nothing and delivered a home with no strings or wants.

They saved my family and I.

If I could sum up what they have done for us it would be this, my grandchildren will grow up knowing who Dan Wallrath and the team at Operation Finally Home are and what they did for not only me, but my children and wife Jennifer.
Thank you Operation Finally Home, you are truly amazing.
