Mission: Opera orlando's mission is to produce quality operatic entertainment and education programs to engage central florida audiences.
Programs: Opera orlando produced six fully staged productions for the 2017-2018 season (three at dr. Phillips center for the performing arts, one at plaza live, one at the jewish community center, and one at the orlando fringe festival) in addition to various outreach events, concerts, and educational programs including a zarzuela highlight concert at the osceola performing arts center, opera on park concert series at the university club of winter park, a summer opera institute at the university of central florida, a masterclass series and concert with valencia college, and in school programs with osceola county public schools and orange county public schools. Opera orlando also has a flourishing youth company of 30 kids ages 8-18 who meet twice a week throughout the school year and perform in mainstage productions and around the community.
