Mission: The mission of Open Meadow is to develop connection, capability, and confidence in disconnected youth through relationship-based, quality learning experiences that result in their academic, personal, and community success.

Programs: Each year Open Meadow serves more than 900 youth in four programs: Open Meadow Middle School: 60 students in the sixth through eighth grades. Open Meadow High School: 145 students in the ninth through twelfth grades. Step Up: In a unique private-public partnership that began at Portland's Roosevelt High School campus, Open Meadow provides tutoring, mentoring, leadership development, and summer programming services to students most in need of immediate academic assistance. The program operates on four campuses at Roosevelt, Madison, Marshall, and Gresham High Schools. Open Meadow Career Services: assists youth in reaching their long-term career goals by providing access to advanced employment and educational opportunities, focused training, and comprehensive support.
