Wow. I am so amazed by Martin, Joaquin, Evan, Louisa, Melissa and Sean. They are so passionate about their work to take the most innovative solutions possible and apply to climate accounting to save our planet.
I will continue to support this organization and am excited to watch it grow. I think Open Earth Foundation is only like 1 or 2 years old and already they have a pilot for their platform in British Columbia and are working to expand into other local governments.
Blockchain has so many amazing applications and applying to open source solutions for the planet is just one thing Open Earth is proving can work.
Open Earth Foundation is doing remarkable work at building collaborations and partnerships around the world to combat climate change. Their team is dynamic and globally focused and I greatly appreciate that they are looking at solutions that can help all countries and especially global south countries which often get forgotten. They also recently announced their official partnership with UN Climate Change (UNFCCC) which is pretty cool and should help further expand their impact. Keep up the great work OEF!
Great team working on really hard problems to ensure that we can collectively regenerate the planet and live in balance with planet Earth.
Love their mission and the way they are building bridges between different organizations.
Innovating through tech is probably the best way to scale our climate actions
Open Earth Foundation has a core of goodness that cannot be ignored. Every person that works here understands the scope of the challenge at hand and works with imperative speed to accomplish the goals at hand. Working together with great leaders across the planet through the UN and other climate conferences, there is an underlying belief that no act is too small for activism but a push for us to dream bigger!
It is an absolute treat to work with like-minded individuals with a love for nature and humanity, and I wouldn't trade it for anything (well, maybe if we could become carbon neutral overnight!).
OpenEarth Foundation is creating technology to solve the world's most challenging crisis: the climate crisis. By developing open source technology, and leveraging emerging tech like AI and blockchain, OEF's mission is to advance climate action through collaboration and technology. Such an amazing mission and team, I love their work, the world definitely needs more organizations like OEF.
Open Earth Foundation has a very complex mission that works at the intersection of technology and climate change. I work in the energy industry and see how Open Earth Foundation programs are working to develop efficiencies and solutions for climate action. The OpenClimate program pilot in British Columbia is super interesting and shows great potential for scaling to other communities.
Keep up the great work and keep innovating!!
OpenEarth Foundation is what climate action has been waiting for since the Paris Agreement's inception in 2015. Their mission driven ethos and entrepreneurial mindset push the needle forward in the belief that there is no time to waste and action must be taken now if we want our future generations to have an inhabitable planet. They are the perfect mix of non-profit, climate, tech and start-up with a grassroots movement to collaborate world-wide on a mission we can all relate to. If you haven't heard of blockchain or smart contracts yet, learn about it from OEF and the perspective that innovative technologies could actually be the solution to speed up climate data collection and start creating accountability world-wide
Excellent focus and excellent mission. OEF is innovating new digital solutions using blockchain, IoT and web 3.0 to build a climate internet and positively impact climate change efforts around the world. Impressive! Keep up the great work.
Came across this group during their OceanDrop event. Then, I watched a few videos on what they are doing and fell in love with their courage to tackle such huge climate change issues.
Here's a video I watched: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkGHcfMV88I.
Anyway, they are putting together some incredible solutions for impacting biodiversity, our oceans and climate change. I can't wait to see more of their projects to be put in use (and our world needs it).
