I've been a supporter of Open Doors for the last 2 years. Christians are persecuted and suffering in many parts of the world, and they need our help. Open Doors teams go to those countries and provide the help that the Christians need. They are doing a great job and it is a great joy that we can participate with them.

Open Doors is beautiful. I've heard about martyrdom before, but I wasn't aware that Christians were persecuted so constantly in such a large global scale. Growing up in New York City, I had generally viewed Christians as a somewhat "privileged" majority and assumed that this was the case in most countries. However, Open Doors taught me about the exhausting persecution that Christians around the world experience D.A.I.L.Y.
And this organization doesn't just broadcast their stories, but they also commit themselves to serving at the front lines: Christians rely on them for food, water, shelters (including safe houses), psychological healing, and spiritual uplifting. This organization is literally these victims' "Daily Bread."
I know what you might be thinking: "Sounds like a great idea, but I'm broke." Well, God has equipped this team with more than just one way to serve. I myself have been occasionally donating $5 at a time (And it means so much to them!). In addition to that, I've also been able to write letters to persecuted Christians, become a social media ambassador, pray for particular communities using the Prayer Force alerts, and contribute to the Open Doors prayer wall. And guess what: You can too! (Bonus: order your FREE copy of the thrilling book "God's Smuggler," which tells you all you need to know about Brother Andrew, the founder).

Now someone might ask me “Marc, why are you supporting the Open Doors ministry?” Here is why: firstly, this ministry has a long history (more than 6 decades!) of faithfully and sacrificially serving and being committed to the Lord Jesus Christ and His Church by offering practical and on-the-ground assistance and aid to persecuted Christians, at great risks. Typically, persecuted Christians are considerably made up of orphans and widows, as husbands and fathers get killed by radical groups such as Boko Haram, Muslim Fulani Herdsmen, ISIS, and so on. Therefore, by prayerfully and financially partnering with this ministry, I get to practice “pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father” which is “to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world” – James 1:27.
Secondly, the Lord Jesus Christ offers many promises with eternal rewards related to caring for His children, especially the least of them and the most vulnerable, as recorded in the following Bible passages: Matthew 10:42, Proverbs 19:17, Ecclesiastes 11:1, Matthew 25:40, Mark 9:41, and Hebrews 6:10.
Thirdly, members of the Body of Christ must love each other, care for one another, and serve one another just as Christ, the Head of this Body, exemplified. “This makes for harmony among the members, so that all the members care for each other. If one part suffers, all the parts suffer with it, and if one part is honored, all the parts are glad” – 1 Corinthians 12:25-26.
Fourthly and lastly, it is good investing in Open Doors because this organization gets the job done! What I mean by that is it takes the words of the Lord Jesus Christ seriously, and, therefore, it is bearing eternally good fruit by the grace and mercy of and for the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ!

I first became aware of Open Doors in the fall of 1976. I was in college and had recently renewed my life for Christ and was looking for ministries to get involved with. Open Doors with Brother Andrew, a ministry that takes the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ into areas of the world that are generally closed to the gospel appealed to me as a way to get the gospel to ends of the earth.

I’m a 17 year old guy, and learning about Open Doors has changed my life. For the past year I’ve seen prayer requests and heard stories that Open Doors has presented. It’s crazy what our brothers and sisters in Christ around the world are going through. People are literally suffering for Jesus. People are being persecuted and beaten even by their family members every single day. It’s heartbreaking. But it’s also encouraging to see how many people are willing to take a stand for Jesus and live for Him no matter the consequences. Most of us aren’t in a position where we can constantly go on mission trips, share the Gospel with unreached people groups, and serve the persecuted Church. So that means that what we give really matters and is a big help. I recently started giving to Open Doors, and it’s been a true blessing. I really hope that you will pray about and consider giving to Open Doors in order to serve the persecuted Church around the world and let them know that they don’t stand alone. As my pastor, Brother Steve, says, “I’d rather get to Heaven and God tell me, ‘Steve, you gave too much,’ than God say, ‘You didn’t give enough.’”

Being a partner of Open Doors is a privilege and an honor for me, since when I donate to Open Doors, in fact I am "donating" to Jesus (Matt. 25:40). I am Brazilian and I started supporting the cause of the persecuted Church in the year 2000. In 2018 I and my family moved to the USA (I came to study at the Wheaton College), and now in 2019 I became a partner of American Open Doors. The faith and perseverance of the persecuted brothers challenges me and encourages me to remain firm in the Lord, despite the struggles. I am impressed by the testimony of faith and courage of many of them. The work that Open Doors carries out among the nations where there is persecution is very important, because it helps those brothers to stay in their place of origin preaching and giving testimony of Salvation in Christ Jesus, so that more people are saved. It is also important because in most regions, the only help they receive is from Open Doors, since when they are discovered as Christians, they are rejected by family members, relatives, friends and governments. Open Doors is a true blessing in my life and especially in their lives.

I read the book of the founder of open door
It changes me and moved me
I learned more about faith trusting God through his story
This is a person that genuinely gave up his live to serve the Lord no string attached
This non profit lives for the persecuted Christians
They are not doing it for money
They are doing it for the kingdom of God
1 John 3:17
But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?

I’m happy they are doing this
If they don’t do it for the persecuted believers who else will do it
The Lord moved me to always donate to them.
I like the app it always update people about what is going on
May the Lord continue to use and bless them IJN

My husband and I have supported Open Doors for a number of decades, since a friend handed me a brochure about the ministry. I was deeply moved by reading Brother Andrews’s book, “God’s Smuggler”. We find the growth of the ministry outreach to be deeply impressive, and the use of funds being open and flawless. May God reach thousands more searching souls through Open Doors!

The focus has always been sharing the Good News while also bringing hands-on help to those in need, and education and training wherever and whenever possible. God has always led the way, and we are thankful for that!

I got to know about open doors USA through our church. I find it challenging to see my fellow brothers and sisters going through persecution and some of us are relaxed in our comfort zones. We got challenged to give and pray for them. My family sends a portion of our tithe to the ministry, and make donations when needs arise. We also use the monthly prayer bulletins daily, sometimes with fastings. And it excites us to hear feedbacks of God's intervention in those places. We hope to be more involved in open doors as opportunities arises, both in administrative duties and volunteer field work.
God bless brother Andrew for yielding to the Lord.
May God's work continue to prosper.
God bless open doors USA.
God bless all saints all over the world.
Shalom.

For most of my Christian life I have contributed financially through my local church. Except for a mission in Mexico I learned about through church and Compassion International, both all about reaching children.
7 years ago I began to add to that the local Christian radio station feeling a sense of responsibility to share with those who shared daily with me, Through the radio ministry I began to share financial resource to send bibles to those without them.
Then this scripture became highlighted to me by The Holy Spirit.
Facebook ‘Open Door’ ads began popping up and the connection was established. Love how the Lord establishes our steps desiring always to bless us all

I wanted to do something so I started donating whatever the Lord put on my heart to give. I love Open Doors and the work they do for their fellow family in Christ. I’m proud to say I am a partner!

Many years ago I read God's Smuggler! Recently I re-read an updated version of the book and then passed it on to a dear friend. Once I finished reading the book, I promised myself that I would give to persecuted brothers and sisters around the world for the rest of my life. Recently for my birthday, I got to back this commitment up, as I raised 170.00 from other friends who became of aware of what Open Doors does to help the body of Christ around the world. I was humbled by the stories in Open Door's top 50 countries that persecute Christians, as I thought how easy I had, had things in my life in America. I urge you to give to Open Doors as Jesus will one day look at you and say, "As surely as you have done this to the least of these (in the world's eyes)...you have done it unto me!" Please give to Open Doors! Please as you are helping the the Body of Christ around the world when you do.

Open Doors makes helping my persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ personal. In the past I sympathized with the persecuted church, but now I actively do something about it by giving monthly.

I also receive the monthly Open Doors prayer bulletins and I have the prayer app on my phone. The prayer requests come directly from persecuted believers, or from those in the field serving them directly. I read their stories, and I am reminded just how important it is to help and stand with believers who are facing some of the hardest times in their lives. I am grateful God led me to help support Open Doors.

I want to encourage you all to give to Open doors today and believe God to open doors in your life that no man can shut! Also remember Proverbs 10:2 when giving. Living in America it was hard to grasp the reality of persecution. The more I followed Christ the more I realized my family all over the world was suffering and I had a responsibility to respond. Open Doors provided a face to the stories, they connected the dots on what persecution is and looks like, how real it is. I did not become a donor right away but the scripture "to whom much is given much is required" opened my eyes. Through the Holy Spirit I realized that in American we have been given much abundance and blessed in many ways. Those blessings comes with responsibility and that is to use our resources to be a blessing to others, my desire was first to the persecuted Church, my family. By God's provision I have become a monthly donor, a continued prayer partner and a advocate, to God be the Glory for it all!

I researched many non-profits to decide where a portion of my 10% tithe from my disability back-pay should go. I really felt Open Doors USA was truly doing GODS" work in supplying resources to, "The Least Of These", as JESUS implored us to do in the Holy Bible. When I hit the lottery, I look forward to tithing a huge amount to Open Doors USA. I've already added them to my Master Donor List! Joseph in NC.

I was living a life of great sin and great sadness. I was on every psychotropic, anti-depressive, sleeping bill and benzodiazepene known to man. I smoked 30 cigarettes a day and weighed 100 lbs.
I had the knowledge of God but not the power thereof.
God, in his infinite love and wisdom decided to ruin my right lower leg.
It was post-op of one of my many surgeries that I found Open Doors. I read the story of Brother Andrew and the many who took their lives into their hands to give Bibles to those in tyrannical countries.
As I started to give and to pray for those many people in countries far away, God was changing me, too.
The idea that I could actually help these people made me feel real purpose for the first time in a long time.
Because I had to pray for these beloved ones meant I had to pray, and the more I prayed, the more I prayed. The more I prayed I realized that God did still love me, it brought me close to His Great Heart and HIs Great Love.
This ministry, these Open Doors, healed me, too.
God used Open Doors to give me purpose, to know I was serving God and to know that He still loved me.
Now, I can say with David,
"Let the bones which Thou hast broken, rejoice!"!
(I'm sure this won't be chosen as I haven't done much, but it is really just a Thank You to Open Doors, that Christ uses your ministry even in the lives of the givers)

My heart goes out to persecuted Christians. I think that most people in the US have their heads in the sand and have no idea how these Christians are putting their lives in danger just for saying they love Christ. I pray for Christians in the 10/40 window every day and give a small donation monthly. I pray for Christians in the US to have a faith as strong as these persecuted Christians.

I became familiar with Open Doors with Brother Andrew back in the early 1980's. I've been a consistent donor for at least the past 25 years. I did a trip with them in 1997 to the Middle East that was phenomenal. I believe the work they do builds up the body of Christ, strengthening and encouraging those who are persecuted for their faith. I'm thankful I can be a part of their team and reach out in giving and with prayer to my brothers and sisters around the world.

Open Doors came to my attention after reading Corrie Ten Boom’s story and that of her assistant (Pam Rosewell Moore) who wrote the Five Silent Years of Corrie TenBoom, I was introduced to Brother Andrew. God’s Smuggler was my first read and that followed by every other book I could find. Brother Andrew’s walk to God and the plan for his life to have Open Doors and an attitude of love and compassion for all of creation in practical applications is a wonderful testament to God. Open Doors is one of the best back stories and current stories of God in action.

This amazing ministry places people in dangerous countries where Christianity is threatened and helps those who have been physically and emotionally and spiritually wounded by persecution. They provide Bibles, food, discipleship, literacy training, encouragement, and emotional healing for those who have been sexually attacked. I pray through their prayer calendars every month since I first had my eyes opened to the suffering of fellow believers around the world. They ask for and need our prayers. Christianity offers hope and Open Doors are the boots on the ground to come alongside those who need help the most, often at the risk of imprisonment or worse themselves.

I have supported Open Doors for some years now, because they keep me informed about Christians around the world who suffer for their religious beliefs. They use the money donated in the most practical ways such as giving aid that is desperately needed, but also by helping people to learn to make a living where they are as well as for education, teaching, and counseling.
As a Christian living in the United States, I often feel helpless to assist those living in such difficult, painful situations. Open Doors allows me to be able to connect with them through specific prayer requests and letters as well as monetary donations. They keep me updated as to their progress and needs, which I greatly appreciate. This is a most amazing and worthwhile organization.

I first became acquainted with Open Doors through a mail solicitation years and years ago, before the internet was so abundant. I called their Santa Ana California office and talked to a lovely woman who told me all about what they did. Their ministry work impressed me so much that I began donating to them immediately and have continued since then. But it was only after I read brother Andrew's story in "God's Smuggler" that I truly began to understand what this ministry was all about. I love what they do, how they reach people in the most desperate situations, how they provide counseling for those who have been through trauma based on their faith, how they train people up to be pastors in their local area, how they provide basic needs, blankets, housing, and so much more. I just cannot say enough good about Open Doors. They truly are fulfilling the great commission. My husband and I have even made provisions for them after we pass away.

My story is not very long since I signed on as a volunteer about three months ago. I was looking for information about Christian Martyrs and found the OPEN DOORS site. The more I read the more I wanted to read. I found stories of real people not just statistics. I also found a resource for sharing this information with others. I signed up for a webinar and learned other ways of spreading the news of Christian Martyrs. I made a comment during the session and received a reply once the webinar was over. The reply included an offer to send me free materials to help with my efforts to spread the news. The materials offered were available for sale on the store section of their web page but they were offered free. OPEN DOORS mission is the primary reason they exist yes, they ask for donations and they have a store but this all is secondary to their mission. Last but, not least, through OPEN DOORS I can share faces of real people which makes the stories come alive!

For many years my heart has been for helping persecuted brethren who are largely forgotten by the Western Church. Open Doors helps me help those whom I want to help. I could wish for a lot of money so that I could give much more. I am an 80-year-old with a disability. I give what I can and know that my small gift will be well used by Open Doors. There are many Christians who have a lot of money and there are many Christians who have virtually nothing. Christianity is sharing what we have with one another and Open Doors is a facilitator for this and its work brings joy to many whose hearts have been crushed by persecution.

I have heard of and supported Open Doors for some 25 years now. I believe they are a great organization working with and coming alongside the Persecuted Church. The work they do in providing aid, education, discipling and encouragement to our suffering brothers and sisters compels me to get involved in God’s work too even if it is in small ways such giving and praying. It helps me feel part of something much bigger.
I especially find the monthly prayer guide useful and use it as a daily reminder to pray for the persecuted, the suggested prayers are short but to the point. I also like that Open Doors produces the World Watch List, this is something that our world leaders should pay attention to so they would know that Christians are a persecuted people group too.
I commend Open Doors as a worthy charity to support, both financially and prayerfully, I trust them completely to use my donations wisely and ensure they go where they are needed most.

I read "God's Smuggler" as a child, the story of the founder of Open Doors. Then, a few years ago, I was moved to donate and volunteer because of Open Doors' work helping persecuted Christians around the world. And, I love the fact that, although Open Doors started smuggling Bibles into countries where Christianity is persecuted, Open Doors now also provides food and shelter to Christians displaced by persecution, provides counselling for the victims of persecution, provides training, education, and, of course, Bibles still to our persecuted brothers and sisters around the world.

I first heard of Open Doors USA when I saw a list of the top ten countries when Christians are persecuted, and felt that I should dig deeper into what they do. This was several years ago. At the time, I was very convicted and moved with the support that Open Doors USA gives to persecuted Christians around the world, but felt unable to contribute, as I had no income at the time, being a child. I promised that, once I started earning money, I would contribute financially to Open Doors USA. That day has since happened, and the last several years have been quite exciting, knowing that I am playing a part, however small, in helping persecuted Christians know that they are not alone. I have also seen how God has been faithful both to persecuted Christians, and to those who help them.

My experience with Open Doors has been very positive. The work they are doing is hard and often dangerous, and they do it with grace, love and perseverance. They help Christians around the world connect with each other, and in so doing, connect our one body with Christ. On the surface, this issue might seem narrower than it actually is. Firstly, there are over 2.3 billion Christians in the world; therefore, the sheer number of people potentially affected is high. Secondly, as Bishop Barron said, “There were more Christian martyrs in the twentieth century than in all of the previous nineteen centuries combined. Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, and many of their lesser-known totalitarian colleagues put millions of Christians to death for their faith in that terrible hundred-year period. One of the saddest features of the still-young twenty-first century is that this awful trend is undoubtedly continuing. By far the most persecuted religious group in the world today are Christians, and they are dying by the thousands especially in the Middle East and in Africa.” Lastly, regardless of one’s personal position regarding Christianity or religion, we can all agree that the freedom to practice one’s faith in peace is a fundamental right that belongs to all. By supporting Open Doors, I am supporting more than my faith or other Christians, specifically the persecuted church, I am supporting all of mankind, as I assert both the Judeo-Christian and the Enlightenment understanding of the human being – one that states that the person has certain inalienable rights and freedoms to include religious freedom.

Open Doors is a great resource for understanding what is happening in countries hostile to Christianity. They send daily and monthly prayer updates so that those of us in open countries can pray for our persecuted brothers and sisters.
Of even greater consequence, Open doors provides on the ground support in many of these countries, offering direct aid to Christians in need. This may be food, shelter, medical aid, and especially Bibles and Christian literature.
I have been an Open doors supporter and have profited from their updates for many years. I recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone who wants to know more about persecuted Christians and to get involved in praying for and helping them.

I am so thankful for groups such as Open Doors that bring news to us of our brothers and sisters across the world. And I praise God for the opportunity to partner with them in prayer and in giving as they minister to the persecuted church and continue to share the gospel.

The app, as well as the emails, offer some very practical help in my prayer time. Earlier this year, I was pleading with God to breathe new life into my prayers. Open Doors has been one very precious part of His answer.

My heart has been broken for the lost, for the persecutors, and for the persecuted. And I rejoice to join with all of my fellow siblings in Christ, in the hallowing of God's name.

To be able to focus my prayers on a specific person or family or group or city, is so helpful to the focus of my prayer time. And I gain so much more than I give.

Here is something specific that has been given to me: the knowledge and understanding of just how necessary it is to pray without ceasing.

In this tragic season of increased Christian persecution throughout the world, the work that Open Doors does is vital. They inform the Church of prayer and support needs. They shine a spotlight on countries that are bent on destroying Christianity. I am so thankful for Open Doors and the work they do. Their commitment to our brothers and sisters throughout the world can be life saving and puts pressure on their circumstances to possibly enact change. THIS is the real deal - - - an organization that stands for, prays for, and brings hope to the persecuted church.

I have been a supporter of Open Doors for a few year's. Open Doors supports and aids the persecuted church around the world and I am blessed to be a very small part in the work they do. Their workers in the persecuted countries give up to date information. Open Doors is transparent about what they do with the support given, and how it helps the iindividuals and families of the persecuted church. The staff is also caring and humble in the work that they do. I highly recommend Open Doors.

I contribute to this organization because i have followed its activities in helping people in many challenging parts of the world. Open Doors takes great risks in helping people in places where that is very dangerous to do. They help support people who have lost everything for what they believe.

I appreciate what Open Doors does to help and highlight the plight of persecuted Christians worldwide. What we take for granted in the U.S. is not true worldwide as professing Christ can cost someone everything at the most basic level. I want to help encourage and alleviate the suffering of everyone, especially those in the household of faith.

What an amazing charity Open Doors is. I love the way they care for those persecuted around the world that no one else notices.
They are a voice to those who have been silenced.
They are hope to the hopeless.
Well done Open Doors!

I have confidence in The Lord’s actions through this organization and its people. I’m more concerned about obedience to His call than anything else when choosing where and how much to give and Open Doors hears and obeys the heart of Our Savior!

I have a heart for the persecuted and want to help them. Open Doors has impressed me with the work they do for the persecuted around the world. I appreciate the mailings I get with the stories of individuals experiencing persecution which humble me learning of their great faith in God. Their prayer list provides people I can pray for specifically each day.
