Open Doors helps me to support my brothers and sisters around the world. In addition to giving, there are opportunities to write letters and support the church in others ways. I'm able to engage more in daily prayer through the monthly prayer force alert and the Open Doors app.

Earlier this year a friend from England wrote to me about Open Doors and their work with Christian believers in many countries whose faith and beliefs are condemned. A number of years ago we became friends with a priest who was studying in Rome and later returned to Iran and was shot and killed in his car after leading a worship service. He is now remembered in the church of San Bartolomeo in Rome which is a shrine to 20th-century martyrs. His memory and sacrifice in the service of God and His people is very moving for us. We were unaware in how many countries Christians experience religious intolerance and are severely punished for practicing their beliefs. We are thankful that Open Doors is involved in this extremely challenging work through local churches to assist people In a variety of ways and are glad to help through our support.

This is a wonderful nonprofit to help to persecuted Christian Church. My heart is encouraged when I give to Open Doors With Brother Andrew who has stated the our prayers go where our bodies can't. My money goes where I can't go and I thank my God for this group.

I was always concerned about persecuted Christians and would pray for them on a daily basis. The moment arrived when praying alone didn't seem to be enough unless I did more. That's why I finally started supporting Open Doors. Great job for the Lord, for Christ's Church, and for our persecuted brothers and sisters. Now I feel like I'm acting more like a true brother in Christ to them.

I first encountered Open Doors when I read Hearts of Fire. It set my heart on fire to pray for Christians suffering in nations that despise Christianity. Yet these martyrs remain strong in their faith in Jesus Christ. Would my faith be as strong and true? Their stories enriched and strengthened my faith. I now pray daily for their safety and protection and I tell others about their stories. We are blessed in America but the darkness is coming. All Christians must join together to speak truth and spread the light and good news of Jesus Christ. Your ministry needs all of us to support you for you go where we cannot. God is with you and blesses this wonderful ministry.

I have been familiar with Open Doors ministry for a long time. The faithfulness in this work is evident in the growth of the reach of the ministry.
Last year I had the privilege to read Brother Andrew’s life story and I have to say was very inspired to realize how we can all have a reach that can further the gospel.
Whether it is reaching my neighbors next door or joining with Open Doors and investing in this ministry, we all have a part to play in the Lord’s grand design to save the nations.
I am glad to have a part in giving monthly to this work.
Until all have heard!

I have had the pleasure of giving to Open Doors for two years now and God has truly blessed me in ways I did not expect. I enjoy following the prayer schedule and focusing on the Middle Eastern section because I now work in the Middle East. And since I now live and work in this part of the world, I have developed a passion for learning and praying for here and of course, Israel is also part of the grand plan. I was busy creating a PowerPoint inspired by Open Doors prayer schedule and I started dedicating time once a month for this region. A few months ago I hooked up with a few other believers in another Middle Eastern country and I share the monthly prayers. I am always encouraged to hear testimonies from others and I pray for those in great need too, using the app. Thanks, Open Doors, may God continue to richly bless this ministry!

We are so blessed to be able to have the good news of the gospel preached freely. Those who hear can freely accept and worship our Savior. This lack of freedom in other countries compelled me to donate to Open Doors and pray daily for my persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ. We must all do our part to advance the Kingdom of God.

I am always blessed when I read about my brothers and sisters in Christ who are strengthened by the Lord and growing stronger in the midst of intense persecution. I pray for our worldwide church family using the Open Doors app and am a frontline partner, giving monthly to support Open Doors work of providing trauma care, emergency relief, and entrepreneurship training as well as equipping followers of Jesus with copies of God's word and training in applying it to the situations they face.

Open Doors daily shares story's of the oppressed/persecuted church. It keeps me in prayer better than I can do myself, as I "get busy" with life, and forget and neglect my prayer life. Donating helps with the many needs of people around the world.

I read God's Smuggler when I was a teenager. Recently I felt led to help the people in China and looked up for a way to support them with my money and found Open Doors. I was really happy to find out that brother Andrew's work was being continued in such a way. I really love the prayer app. It really has helped me grow in my faith and really has given me a good opportunity to turn my little time that might have been used on social media or playing video games into prayer time for my persecuted brothers and sisters across the world.
I wish people would start virtual mission trips with their youth groups and churches. A group of people could agree to fast their time and their resources and their money for a week or a month or even a year and then they could donate it to our brothers and sisters through open doors or other Christian nonprofits. A youth group could agree to give up eating out or drinking coffee or buying anything for a week other than just the necessities of life and all extra money could be donated to our brothers and sisters in dire need. A youth group or women's group could also agree to not do any social media for a week and use that time praying instead. I pray somebody start a website or maybe many websites with this idea and encourage people to take virtual mission trips because now God has given us great power through the internet to affect the world around us. Let it not be said of us in the Day of Judgement that we wasted this great opportunity.

Open Doors has opened my eyes to the plight of fellow believers and the high cost they are paying for their faith in Jesus. I do give a monthly contribution and know any amount would not be enough. I pray daily for my brothers and sisters throughout the world for their protection and the felt presence of the LORD. Thank you Open Doors for your faithfulness.

I read Brother Andrews' "God's Smuggler" in 1968 when I was 28 and Eastern Europe lay under Communism. At that time I stood before the Berlin wall and thought that whenever it fell would not be in my lifetime. I was awestruck in 1989. It was God's hand. Now, Open Doors ministers to Christians in countries under the yoke of Islam. For us as Americans, 9/11 was, or should have been, a real wake-up call. I'm happy to help Open Doors by praying, reading the monthly newsletter and prayer calendar, and donating what I can.

I believe I was called by God not only to donate but support the persecuted Church in their time of need, so I looked for an organisation that would meet the biblical criteria and I found Open Doors. It reminded me of the words of our Saviour when He said, "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat. I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited Me in, naked and you clothed Me etc this is what I see Open Doors doing and I want to be part of such an organisation. I am also a Connector in that I take the prayers I receive daily and share them with my church so that our brethren in the persecuted Church know that we stand alongside them. I am blessed because of being a part of Open Doors especially as I am constantly seeing God answer prayers. The way God has used Open Doors is nothing short of phenomenal.

Yeah, I was looking for ways to help "the least of these" as referenced by Jesus in the Bible. I have the understanding that this is supposed to be the traveling missionaries who didn't have anything. I also understand that some people see that as helping any Christian brother or sister in need. I figured supporting a charity which is in the mission field in areas of the world where Christians are greatly persecuted would be a good way to help both Missionaries and those Christian brothers and sisters in need of helping, thinking back to "the least of these".

It changed me and made me aware of the need to help our struggling family in Christ!! When I heard of Open Doors I couldn't wait to help them! I feel for me it's my duty and my joy to give! Thank you brother Andrew and Open Doors for all your hard work and love for the persecuted! I also love the monthly prayer pamphlet so that I can pray and the urgent prayer requests made available for us to lift these precious people up to God!!!

And also for the opportunity to share the help, that God has shown me, by donating financially to a reputable organization that is supporting the persecuted church in many ways. And also, Open Doors provides me with invaluable information by which my prayers to God can be informed.

Peace. The gift I have been given by supporting Open Doors. Seeing the stories of suffering people that are being helped by Open Doors hurt my heart..I would pray for them and look away. I couldn't continue to look away and knew that isn't the way of Jesus. I had no peace. When I became a monthly donor I found peace. Prayer and giving is the way of a Christian. After reading Brother Andrew's book and looking into open doors, I have determined to make it one of the charities I support. They help persecuted Christians all over the world. As a Christian, I think we are responsible for how we use our money. Paul says those who are well off should use their money to help others in 1 Timothy 17:18, which states "17Teach those who are rich in this world not to be proud and not to trust in their money, which is so unreliable. Their trust should be in God, who richly gives us all we need for our enjoyment. 18Tell them to use their money to do good. They should be rich in good works and generous to those in need, always being ready to share with others"(NLT) which is what Open Doors does for our persecuted brothers and sisters. I would highly recommend giving to this organization.

Passing on the word of Christ is important, because in this world their are demonic rulers that hate Jesus Christ, one is president Joe Biden, he is the biggest Antichrist in America at this time, but the word of Christ lets us know that we are safe & Satan & his children will be crushed.

Unbelievably, I am giving Opendoors USA an one star (or no stars) because three times this organization drafted $50.00 out of my account without permission. For each time with the third attempt failing because I changed my debit card #, Opendoors USA claimed that I accidentally chose to be a monthly donor WHICH I NEVER DID!

Although I did get my money back for the first two times, it was the third time that confirmed that Opendoors USA was in fact trying to steal from me. As I mentioned, I changed my debit card because I feared that Opendoors USA would try to pull from my account again. On March 3rd, I received an email from Opendoors stating that they were not able to pull from my account due to a card decline!

Uh, yes, you thieves. It's because I changed my card so that you couldn't turn my bank account into an 'opendoor'. I emailed them a very angry letter, yet Opendoors USA sent a reply stating that they were sorry that I am no longer a monthly donor?! The letter also tried to bribe me back into giving by telling me how my money helped in buying bibles for the persecuted saints. No apologies were given for their trying to steal my money.

Opendoors USA hides behind persecuted saints just to casually take from your account. I find this extremely vile! Scammers!!

I've been a supporter of Open Doors for the last 2 years. Christians are persecuted and suffering in many parts of the world, and they need our help. Open Doors teams go to those countries and provide the help that the Christians need. They are doing a great job and it is a great joy that we can participate with them.

Open Doors is beautiful. I've heard about martyrdom before, but I wasn't aware that Christians were persecuted so constantly in such a large global scale. Growing up in New York City, I had generally viewed Christians as a somewhat "privileged" majority and assumed that this was the case in most countries. However, Open Doors taught me about the exhausting persecution that Christians around the world experience D.A.I.L.Y.
And this organization doesn't just broadcast their stories, but they also commit themselves to serving at the front lines: Christians rely on them for food, water, shelters (including safe houses), psychological healing, and spiritual uplifting. This organization is literally these victims' "Daily Bread."
I know what you might be thinking: "Sounds like a great idea, but I'm broke." Well, God has equipped this team with more than just one way to serve. I myself have been occasionally donating $5 at a time (And it means so much to them!). In addition to that, I've also been able to write letters to persecuted Christians, become a social media ambassador, pray for particular communities using the Prayer Force alerts, and contribute to the Open Doors prayer wall. And guess what: You can too! (Bonus: order your FREE copy of the thrilling book "God's Smuggler," which tells you all you need to know about Brother Andrew, the founder).

Now someone might ask me “Marc, why are you supporting the Open Doors ministry?” Here is why: firstly, this ministry has a long history (more than 6 decades!) of faithfully and sacrificially serving and being committed to the Lord Jesus Christ and His Church by offering practical and on-the-ground assistance and aid to persecuted Christians, at great risks. Typically, persecuted Christians are considerably made up of orphans and widows, as husbands and fathers get killed by radical groups such as Boko Haram, Muslim Fulani Herdsmen, ISIS, and so on. Therefore, by prayerfully and financially partnering with this ministry, I get to practice “pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father” which is “to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world” – James 1:27.
Secondly, the Lord Jesus Christ offers many promises with eternal rewards related to caring for His children, especially the least of them and the most vulnerable, as recorded in the following Bible passages: Matthew 10:42, Proverbs 19:17, Ecclesiastes 11:1, Matthew 25:40, Mark 9:41, and Hebrews 6:10.
Thirdly, members of the Body of Christ must love each other, care for one another, and serve one another just as Christ, the Head of this Body, exemplified. “This makes for harmony among the members, so that all the members care for each other. If one part suffers, all the parts suffer with it, and if one part is honored, all the parts are glad” – 1 Corinthians 12:25-26.
Fourthly and lastly, it is good investing in Open Doors because this organization gets the job done! What I mean by that is it takes the words of the Lord Jesus Christ seriously, and, therefore, it is bearing eternally good fruit by the grace and mercy of and for the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ!

I first became aware of Open Doors in the fall of 1976. I was in college and had recently renewed my life for Christ and was looking for ministries to get involved with. Open Doors with Brother Andrew, a ministry that takes the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ into areas of the world that are generally closed to the gospel appealed to me as a way to get the gospel to ends of the earth.

I’m a 17 year old guy, and learning about Open Doors has changed my life. For the past year I’ve seen prayer requests and heard stories that Open Doors has presented. It’s crazy what our brothers and sisters in Christ around the world are going through. People are literally suffering for Jesus. People are being persecuted and beaten even by their family members every single day. It’s heartbreaking. But it’s also encouraging to see how many people are willing to take a stand for Jesus and live for Him no matter the consequences. Most of us aren’t in a position where we can constantly go on mission trips, share the Gospel with unreached people groups, and serve the persecuted Church. So that means that what we give really matters and is a big help. I recently started giving to Open Doors, and it’s been a true blessing. I really hope that you will pray about and consider giving to Open Doors in order to serve the persecuted Church around the world and let them know that they don’t stand alone. As my pastor, Brother Steve, says, “I’d rather get to Heaven and God tell me, ‘Steve, you gave too much,’ than God say, ‘You didn’t give enough.’”

Being a partner of Open Doors is a privilege and an honor for me, since when I donate to Open Doors, in fact I am "donating" to Jesus (Matt. 25:40). I am Brazilian and I started supporting the cause of the persecuted Church in the year 2000. In 2018 I and my family moved to the USA (I came to study at the Wheaton College), and now in 2019 I became a partner of American Open Doors. The faith and perseverance of the persecuted brothers challenges me and encourages me to remain firm in the Lord, despite the struggles. I am impressed by the testimony of faith and courage of many of them. The work that Open Doors carries out among the nations where there is persecution is very important, because it helps those brothers to stay in their place of origin preaching and giving testimony of Salvation in Christ Jesus, so that more people are saved. It is also important because in most regions, the only help they receive is from Open Doors, since when they are discovered as Christians, they are rejected by family members, relatives, friends and governments. Open Doors is a true blessing in my life and especially in their lives.

I read the book of the founder of open door
It changes me and moved me
I learned more about faith trusting God through his story
This is a person that genuinely gave up his live to serve the Lord no string attached
This non profit lives for the persecuted Christians
They are not doing it for money
They are doing it for the kingdom of God
1 John 3:17
But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?

I’m happy they are doing this
If they don’t do it for the persecuted believers who else will do it
The Lord moved me to always donate to them.
I like the app it always update people about what is going on
May the Lord continue to use and bless them IJN

I got to know about open doors USA through our church. I find it challenging to see my fellow brothers and sisters going through persecution and some of us are relaxed in our comfort zones. We got challenged to give and pray for them. My family sends a portion of our tithe to the ministry, and make donations when needs arise. We also use the monthly prayer bulletins daily, sometimes with fastings. And it excites us to hear feedbacks of God's intervention in those places. We hope to be more involved in open doors as opportunities arises, both in administrative duties and volunteer field work.
God bless brother Andrew for yielding to the Lord.
May God's work continue to prosper.
God bless open doors USA.
God bless all saints all over the world.

For most of my Christian life I have contributed financially through my local church. Except for a mission in Mexico I learned about through church and Compassion International, both all about reaching children.
7 years ago I began to add to that the local Christian radio station feeling a sense of responsibility to share with those who shared daily with me, Through the radio ministry I began to share financial resource to send bibles to those without them.
Then this scripture became highlighted to me by The Holy Spirit.
Facebook ‘Open Door’ ads began popping up and the connection was established. Love how the Lord establishes our steps desiring always to bless us all

Many years ago I read God's Smuggler! Recently I re-read an updated version of the book and then passed it on to a dear friend. Once I finished reading the book, I promised myself that I would give to persecuted brothers and sisters around the world for the rest of my life. Recently for my birthday, I got to back this commitment up, as I raised 170.00 from other friends who became of aware of what Open Doors does to help the body of Christ around the world. I was humbled by the stories in Open Door's top 50 countries that persecute Christians, as I thought how easy I had, had things in my life in America. I urge you to give to Open Doors as Jesus will one day look at you and say, "As surely as you have done this to the least of these (in the world's eyes)...you have done it unto me!" Please give to Open Doors! Please as you are helping the the Body of Christ around the world when you do.

Open Doors makes helping my persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ personal. In the past I sympathized with the persecuted church, but now I actively do something about it by giving monthly.

I also receive the monthly Open Doors prayer bulletins and I have the prayer app on my phone. The prayer requests come directly from persecuted believers, or from those in the field serving them directly. I read their stories, and I am reminded just how important it is to help and stand with believers who are facing some of the hardest times in their lives. I am grateful God led me to help support Open Doors.

Living in America it was hard to grasp the reality of persecution. The more I followed Christ the more I realized my family all over the world was suffering and I had a responsibility to respond. Open Doors provided a face to the stories, they connected the dots on what persecution is and looks like, how real it is. I did not become a donor right away but the scripture "to whom much is given much is required" opened my eyes. Through the Holy Spirit I realized that in American we have been given much abundance and blessed in many ways. Those blessings comes with responsibility and that is to use our resources to be a blessing to others, my desire was first to the persecuted Church, my family. By God's provision I have become a monthly donor, a continued prayer partner and a advocate, to God be the Glory for it all!

I was living a life of great sin and great sadness. I was on every psychotropic, anti-depressive, sleeping bill and benzodiazepene known to man. I smoked 30 cigarettes a day and weighed 100 lbs.
I had the knowledge of God but not the power thereof.
God, in his infinite love and wisdom decided to ruin my right lower leg.
It was post-op of one of my many surgeries that I found Open Doors. I read the story of Brother Andrew and the many who took their lives into their hands to give Bibles to those in tyrannical countries.
As I started to give and to pray for those many people in countries far away, God was changing me, too.
The idea that I could actually help these people made me feel real purpose for the first time in a long time.
Because I had to pray for these beloved ones meant I had to pray, and the more I prayed, the more I prayed. The more I prayed I realized that God did still love me, it brought me close to His Great Heart and HIs Great Love.
This ministry, these Open Doors, healed me, too.
God used Open Doors to give me purpose, to know I was serving God and to know that He still loved me.
Now, I can say with David,
"Let the bones which Thou hast broken, rejoice!"!
(I'm sure this won't be chosen as I haven't done much, but it is really just a Thank You to Open Doors, that Christ uses your ministry even in the lives of the givers)

Open Doors came to my attention after reading Corrie Ten Boom’s story and that of her assistant (Pam Rosewell Moore) who wrote the Five Silent Years of Corrie TenBoom, I was introduced to Brother Andrew. God’s Smuggler was my first read and that followed by every other book I could find. Brother Andrew’s walk to God and the plan for his life to have Open Doors and an attitude of love and compassion for all of creation in practical applications is a wonderful testament to God. Open Doors is one of the best back stories and current stories of God in action.

This amazing ministry places people in dangerous countries where Christianity is threatened and helps those who have been physically and emotionally and spiritually wounded by persecution. They provide Bibles, food, discipleship, literacy training, encouragement, and emotional healing for those who have been sexually attacked. I pray through their prayer calendars every month since I first had my eyes opened to the suffering of fellow believers around the world. They ask for and need our prayers. Christianity offers hope and Open Doors are the boots on the ground to come alongside those who need help the most, often at the risk of imprisonment or worse themselves.

I have supported Open Doors for some years now, because they keep me informed about Christians around the world who suffer for their religious beliefs. They use the money donated in the most practical ways such as giving aid that is desperately needed, but also by helping people to learn to make a living where they are as well as for education, teaching, and counseling.
As a Christian living in the United States, I often feel helpless to assist those living in such difficult, painful situations. Open Doors allows me to be able to connect with them through specific prayer requests and letters as well as monetary donations. They keep me updated as to their progress and needs, which I greatly appreciate. This is a most amazing and worthwhile organization.

Open Doors has kept our family current on events affecting my Christian Brethren all over the world. Their materials are informative, well written, and thorough. They do not unduly pressure us to donate....we donate because of our love for Christ and our persecuted fellow Christians.

Open Doors has provided my family and our Church Body with current, clear, and honest reporting on the Persecuted Church world wide. Being connected with those who suffer for their Faith has helped our Faith grow. It is just very spiritually healthy to engage with this ministry and with those whom they minister to.

It's good to have ministry that is willing to reach out to our persecuted Christians abroad. Sometimes we are too insulated and "cutoff " from national news to hear anything about suffering; facing life threatening Christians.

Open Doors is a fantastic way to feel connected to and support the persecuted church, our brothers and sisters in the faith. Open Doors stays connected with contributors through magazines, mailer updates, email updates and opportunities to meet or hear from those who have received support through Open Doors. If you give a cup of cold water to them, you have done so to Jesus. Open Doors is the opportunity to give that cup of cold water (relief, support, comfort, common necessities, bibles, and hope.

I am so grateful for the ministry of Open Doors and there wholehearted commitment to the gospel. Brother Andrew had a huge impact on my life as a young person and I am excited to be a part of his ministry. The stories I receive of our persecuted brothers and sisters encourage me as I see God at work in the darkest and seemingly hopeless places of the world.

I first became acquainted with Open Doors through a mail solicitation years and years ago, before the internet was so abundant. I called their Santa Ana California office and talked to a lovely woman who told me all about what they did. Their ministry work impressed me so much that I began donating to them immediately and have continued since then. But it was only after I read brother Andrew's story in "God's Smuggler" that I truly began to understand what this ministry was all about. I love what they do, how they reach people in the most desperate situations, how they provide counseling for those who have been through trauma based on their faith, how they train people up to be pastors in their local area, how they provide basic needs, blankets, housing, and so much more. I just cannot say enough good about Open Doors. They truly are fulfilling the great commission. My husband and I have even made provisions for them after we pass away.

I have been so impressed with the integrity of Open Doors ministry. The quarterly magazines are informative, touching and professional. The webinars that include interviews with those in the persecuted church really bring the reality of their lives and plight home. I have full confidence our monthly donations are spent with much prayer and diligence. I thank God for the ministry of Open Doors.

We have suporter Open Doors for years. THey are faithful to God and to the persecuted church to support them in any way they possibly can. They supply us with a monthly prayer list that gives specific situations and persecuted Christians to pray for. They have been faithful to use the donations they have received to reach out to fellow believers who are suffering. Though I am not with the persecuted church in person I am so happy that I can support them through this upstanding organization.

They also provide monthly prayer calendars which are an effective way of engaging many to pray for Christians around the world as well as increase awareness. I have no doubt that my time and donations are used well by God working through Open Doors.

My story is not very long since I signed on as a volunteer about three months ago. I was looking for information about Christian Martyrs and found the OPEN DOORS site. The more I read the more I wanted to read. I found stories of real people not just statistics. I also found a resource for sharing this information with others. I signed up for a webinar and learned other ways of spreading the news of Christian Martyrs. I made a comment during the session and received a reply once the webinar was over. The reply included an offer to send me free materials to help with my efforts to spread the news. The materials offered were available for sale on the store section of their web page but they were offered free. OPEN DOORS mission is the primary reason they exist yes, they ask for donations and they have a store but this all is secondary to their mission. Last but, not least, through OPEN DOORS I can share faces of real people which makes the stories come alive!

Open Doors to me represents the crucial work of The Church by providing a means of pooling our talents and resources to encourage and strengthen the body of Christ that goes beyond any one denomination, national border or culture.
