Mission: OneProtest is a volunteer-run, non-profit organization making a big difference. At OneProtest we fight on the frontlines and behind the scenes to mitigate threats and safeguard those that need protection. We take a full circle approach through consulting, marketing, design work, protests, investigations, petitions, proposals, and boots-on-the-ground work. We implement change by strengthening community ties, changing and enforcing laws, and promoting standards regarding the fundamental rights of humans, animals, and the environment. OneProtest stands against the unjust and unsustainable actions of corrupt government-run organizations, corporations, and special interest groups.
Results: OUR WORK 1. Stopped black bear hunting in Florida in 2016, 2017, 2018. 2. Launched BearDefenders.org a campaign aimed at bringing bear trophy hunting across the US to an end. 3. Assisted groups in keeping protections for grizzly bears in the states bordering the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem (GYE). 4. Campaigned and stopped the FWC's proposal that would have allowed the hunting of the critically endangered Goliath Grouper (in Florida waters). 5. Launched OnePoster.org - A free poster download site that offers professional posters and literature designed to empower activist to fight animal abuse. 6. We were instrumental in ending greyhound racing in Florida. 7. Our activism as a collective helped bring Ringling Bros 146 years of animal abuse to an end. 8. Pushed the FWC for new rules and regulations to protect sharks and beachgoers from the practice of land-based shark fishing and we are implementing a "Shark Watch" program to monitor land-based shark fishers and report illegal activity to FWC law enforcement. 9. Acted as consultants to various organizations and individuals providing them with the advice and tools needed to run successful campaigns.
