Mission: One hope serves as a catalyst to bring area churches and ministries together to pray, to serve our community and to share good news. We collaborate, plan, organize, and execute a wide variety of events to accomplish this mission.
Programs: Project hope: organized volunteers for a weekend of service to public schools and underprivileged children in the area. Service to public schools included landscaping, painting, and building maintenance. Service to children included a children's fair, giving away new shoes, backpacks, school supplies, haircuts and food.
thanksgiving meal project: received donations for thanksgiving meal boxes, coordinated volunteers to deliver meal boxes to people in the community who were in financial need. People in need were referred by local public school counselors and local churches.
every child:coordinates churches to serve the department of human services child welfare by recruiting new foster parents and supporting current foster parents. In addition we service dhs by providing hospitallity to dhs staff, provide welcoming boxes to all new foster children and providing dhs encouraging events such as foster family fun day and dhs christmas party for biological parents.
one hope women program used to encourage women involment in the ministry the expenses listed are for the operation of the organization in its general work as stated in its mission prayer summit: organized and gather for church pastors and lay leaders for two days of prayer and teaching. Received donations and registration fees for the event held at canon beach convention center.
