On Lok 30th Street wastes thousands of dollars in equipment which lays waste in their storerooms. Each year On loK is given money by the Dept. of Aging which On Lok needs to spend whether they need it or not. On Lok spends the money on wasteful equipment. There are new kitchen equipment not in use. For example there is a $10,00 sealer which was used for only a few months; dozens of glasses, dinner plates, beverage servers from the past years which are unused and wasted. The Director has been there for 30 years and needs to leave. As many of you know people lack the current skills, imagination, creativity if they linger too long at any job. Please do not donate to this facility.
