Its hard to believe what started as a food distribution ministry through The Sanctuary Church back in 1997 with two volunteers has grown into a self standing thriving ministry for homeless men, women and children. Since its beginning OSCM has demonstrated its ability to reach out to a segment of our community to meet the needs of individuals who have lost there way through love and patience. Olsd Savannah City Mission is providing hot meals, warm beds, clothing and spiritual guidance on a daily basis through the support of donors like me and others who have seen first hand the results in the men who have entered into the missions life changing faith based program. I encourage other Non-Profits, NGO's, and potential donors to continue to provide support for the OSCM and for the wonderful work being done in the name of our Lord and Savior.

No ministry to the homeless, hungry, and 'starting over' has impressed me as much as OSCM. Their steadfast commitment to reflect Christ by serving those in need through establishing high standards, maintaining strong boundaries and giving clear direction is extraordinary. I have encouraged dozens of friends to tour their unbelievably clean facilities and look for rewarding opportunities to serve in and through Savannah's Five Star Gospel Mission, where compassion and vision unite without the limitations associated with government funding.
