Mission: To work in partnership with the city of sacramento, the state of california, property owners, merchants and other stakeholders in their common goal of strengthening the commercial vitality of the historic old sacramento district
Programs: Marketing - promote old sacramento as a place to visit and shop through public relations, advertising, promotions and events. The organization produces the theatre of lights each holiday season. It is a twice nightly show free to the public that highlights the history of the area and attracts 50,000 local and regional visitors. Merchant directories are produced four times per year (20,000 each run) and are distributed free to visitors in the district.
