Mission: Mission Statement for Old Harford Town Maritime Center & Museum (Maritime Center)- to preserve and capture the essence of rural life, in an historic Eastern Shore riverfront wharf setting, by utilizing one of the State's only standing nineteenth century maritime wharf/warehouse structures and two of Maryland's remaining Chesapeake Bay Skipjacks, for educational programs and exhibits which interpret this unique riverfront setting. The Maritime Center will promote preservation, education and heritage tourism along the banks of the upper Choptank River.
