Causes: Alumni Associations, Education
Mission: The mission of the osu alumni association is to serve its members and alumni and to support and serve the needs of oklahoma state university, its students, faculty, staff, and friends.
Programs: Grandparent university - it brings grandparents and their legacy grandchildren to campus for three day summer camps filled with engaging activities for both, while creating memeories that last a lifetime.
homecoming - homecoming is osu's richest tradition, linking alumni to current students and the university. It is presented by the osu alumni association and planned by the student-driven homecoming steering committee. It serves as the primary venue for keeping osu alumni connected to the university. Alumni return by the thousands to reminisce about their days at osu and to bring others to show off the campus and homecoming activities. Student participation in planning and carrying out homecoming is a valuable and essential service to the alumni, the alumni association and ultimately oklahoma state university.
chapters- the chapters program is the most visible sign of the mission of the association in that all chapters strive to reach out to alumni and friends in their geographical region in an attempt to help them connect to osu. The chapters also participate in activities to raise scholarship funds that will assist local students in their goal to attend osu and earn a degree. Over 250 volunteers are directly involved with chapter activities. Chapters hosted over 700 events at which over 30,000 people attended during this past fiscal year. Chapters have given scholarships of over $350,000 to students during the current fiscal year.
