Mission: To perform educational, scientific, and charitable events to further enhance the nursing practice.
Programs: Nurses choice awards luncheon/scholarship program. The event is both a fund raising opportunity as well as a recognition luncheon honoring the scholarship winners and research grant awardees. We also recognize individuals or entities that have contributed to the nursing profession in the past by raising the awareness of nursing as a positive career choice. We awarded scholarships to individuals and also awarded research grants. These scholarhips provide monetary assistance to both pre-license students as well as to rns returning for their baccalaureate degree or rns seeking graduate degrees to become nurse educators or advanced practice nurses.
