Mission: Off-The-Grid Missions (OTG) is a global humanitarian aid organization filling the gap in disaster-response by providing Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing people with critical life-saving resources in high-risk and disaster-stricken regions around the world. Alarming humanitarian needs are rapidly escalating in scale and severity for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing (DHH) civilians caught in the crossfire. Furthermore, in the many corners of the world we serve, many DHH people have absolutely zero legal protections as they are considered sub-humans due to their disabilities, which greatly increase the chances of this population being subjected to incomprehensible violence. In addition to DHH, we serve Persons With Disabilities and CODAs.

OTG is a brilliant and perfect example of a dedicated and impactful organization, consistently exceeding expectations in their commitment to filling the gap in disaster-response by providing Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing people with critical life-saving resources in high-risk and disaster-stricken regions around the world. Their well-structured programs, passionate staff, and transparent use of services and funds directly translate to real, measurable change in the lives of Deaf and Hard of Hearing communities. Their “Humanity is not a Debate” slogan stands out as a particularly effective model, demonstrating their deep understanding of community needs and ability to deliver impactful solutions. I am proud to be an ambassador for this organization, and I wholeheartedly recommend supporting OTG for anyone seeking to make a meaningful difference through their donations and volunteer time.

Off The Grid Missions is an organization created by and administered by an individual totally dedicated to the needs of the hearing-impaired population around the world. During times of natural disasters and war, Angela's teams jump into action to assist and support the Deaf community in those regions with much needed supplies and emotional support to sustain them through the troubled times. Although Angela has many talents and can excel in many professions, she has opted to unselfishly dedicate her time and efforts to support and help the hearing-impaired community in their greatest times of need. She is a true example of a leader who can do and will do what it takes to succeed in the implementation of her aid to those she and her teams can reach.

We know the founder, Angela, personally. She is an amazing woman with a true heart for humanity. Picture this, you are deaf, the lights go out during a bombing. You can't communicate with sign language because you can't see the person next to you. You don't even know there was a bombing because you can't hear the air raid sirens. OTG is there to find you, bring you to safety, and provide for your immediate needs. Wars, hurricanes, at home or over seas, OTG goes to the aid of the deaf and hard of hearing in times of need. Truly an incredible organization run by one woman helping so many!

This nonprofit organization is incredible in the work they do! They're so passionate about including and helping those who have been hit by a crisis - and they even prepare to help in situations BEFORE the crisis hits. I've learned so much from them as an organization and in what type of information and resources are not always accessible. It's the things we tend to take for granted. Loved working with them as an ambassador and supporting their work!

Off-The-Grid Missions (OTG) is one of the more inspirational organizations I have been around. I support a group that has worked in Haiti for over the past 20 years, and within that group we started an effort to provide solar lanterns as part of their food and medicine distribution packages.

These solar lanterns became the bond between myself and Angela (Founder of OTG), as my group uses LuminAID solar lanterns. LuminAID has supported OTG over the years and to see the impact these lanterns have on the Deaf+ Community, particularly in dangerous and devastated areas (i.e. Ukraine, Haiti, and many other locations), is remarkable.

Thank you OTG for all you are doing, you are making the world a better, safer place.

Off The Grid Missions (OTG) is a wonderful caring team who will jump in to help out. On my personal note, they immediately sent a small team to help and provide useful things/resourceful info to my mother in Puerto Rico due to a black out town. Thank you!

Off-The-Grid has an amazing team and knows how to pick its people. Its founder, Angela, is a persistent trailblazer of disaster safety and reparations. As an organization they have worked in a number of cities across the world in the face of disaster, and prioritized Deaf and Hard of Hearing humans with information and necessities for survival. I am so fortunate to have worked so closely with this organization in 2021 when me and two of my buddies rode our bikes across the U.S. and fundraised for this organization. The same way we got involved with them, they got involved with us and supported our trip in more ways than one. Off-The-Grid Missions is truly a hard-working and definite non-profit. Kudos!

Off the Grid Missions was the cause we (the bike group) raised by biking across America in 2021. We truly believe this nonprofit organization provides the most necessary services and support for the deaf and hard of hearing people in the world. Oftentimes, deaf and hard of hearing people are among the last groups to find out about natural disaster resources after experiencing it. This nonprofit organization is committed to filling the gap by providing the tools, resources, and other things to support them through the most challenging times. We raised funds and awareness of this nonprofit organization by biking across America to support this nonprofit organization receiving the funds to support they served back in 2021. During the bike trip, this nonprofit organization provided us with support and tools and ensured we were safe. We both connected from the beginning, kept in touch during the trip, and are still in touch sometimes after the trip, and that shows how much they fully committed. With that being said, Off the Grid Missions is an amazing, hardworking team that supports and provides all the needs they have to others! Do not hesitate to reach out to them!

As the Founder of Off-The-Grid Missions, I have witnessed firsthand how we work to fill the gap in Disaster Response for Deaf and Disabled people (and their families) globally.

Our team tackles unique, difficult, and oftentimes dangerous challenges to aid marginalized communities, from rescuing deaf families in active war zones to customizing humanitarian aid for people with disabilities, such as providing solar lights to enable communication in sign language at night and more. The work we do is difficult and oftentimes incredibly heartbreaking and isolating. Behind the scenes, we go beyond bringing aid to those most neglected; we work just as hard to educate other Disaster Response NGOs by advocating before, during, and after disasters, as well as on the frontlines for access amidst extreme and chaotic moments of disaster and war.

I hope that you will support us by raising awareness and support for our cause. To learn more, visit www.offthegridmissions.org or follow us online at @offthegridmissions.
