Causes: Mental Health, Substance Abuse Treatment
Mission: To provide holistic and client-centered services in a safe environment that addresses the full continum of special care needs for the state of louisiana. Ohl's encompassing system of care includes detox, treatment,behavioral and medical healthcare, life skills, counseling and case management. Through our services, ohl empowers individuals to become active participants in their treatment and recovery to reclaim functional, productive lives.
Programs: Ohl's 24-hour substance abuse treatment programs, which include medically assisted detox and adolescent and adult residential services, are consciously designed treatment programs in which clients are taught therapeutic skills to make changes in behaviours and attitudes that will enable them to lead a drug-free life. Ohl's adult residential program treated approximately 1,287 people. The adolescent treatment facility treated approximately 935 people. The medically assisted detox program treated approximately 1,415 people.
ohl's community supportive services assists clients with housing and job placement post-treatment to ensure stability and a connection to supportive services. Community supported services treated an estimated 134 people.
ohl's outpatient program and medical clinic provides addiction treatment, behavioral health and primary care services from conducting routine health screenings, to treating acute illnesses, to managing chronic health conditions to intensive substance abuse treatment and wraparound services. The outpatient facility treated an estimated 481 people and the medical clinic treated about 2,602 people.
