I adopted a rescue dog from OCpoundhounds. They are the real deal. They rescue hard many hard-to-place dogs, often on death row, by finding individuals willing to foster in their homes. They have an application review process and home check to ensure dogs are placed in quality forever homes. Highly recommend.

I have volunteered with Michele @ OCPoundhounds for a few years now and I can honestly say I have never met a person who is more committed to animals. Michele is honest, straightforward and loves each and every dog in her rescue. She manages transparently and will answer any questions you may have about the dogs or OCPoundhounds. I highly recommend OCPoundhounds! :)
