Mission: The mission of oconto hospital & medical center is to provide 24-hour local access to effective, efficient health, wellness and preventative services to oconto and the surrounding rural communities. The organization provides acute hospital, emergency and urgent care to residents of oconto, wisconsin and the surrounding communities. During the period of october 1, 2016 to september 30, 2017, 370 inpatient days were provided and 146 swing bed days were provided. in 2017 the oconto hospital & medical center corporation expanded services northward with the opening of a multispecialty clinic in marinette wisconsin. New services offered at the marinette location include radiation oncology services, chemotherapy and infustion services. In addition to the organization acquired of primary care clinics in crivitz and peshtigo wisconsin. Services were also expanded into the state of michigan with the acquisition of primary care clinics in daggett and menominee michigan. As a result, the corporation was able to provide an additional 9,054 urgent care visits, 50,133 primary care visits and 8,289 specialty provider visits to these communities.
