Causes: Food, Meals on Wheels
Mission: The organization has been established to conduct a meals on wheels program. Meals are provided to those who are homebound, frail and elderly. Approximately 1,000 meals are delivered daily.
Programs: Meals are provided to individuals in the area of distribution of the organization regardless of their financial abilility to contribute to the organization. Meals are delivered to thte homebound persons who are unable to shop and cook for themselves. Deliveries are made each day of the week. For those who have not family support, the organization alos provides weekend meals. Clients are also provided shelf / stable emergency meal kits which are supposed to be used in the event that weather conditions make meal delivery service not possible.
