Mission: Oak-Leyden Developmental Services has been providing programs to children and adults with developmental disabilities since 1956. Our community-based services include Early Intervention for children under three years of age; along with a wide range of vocational/job training and residential opportunities for adults. Our nine distinct programs serve well over 500 families each year throughout Chicago and the near west suburbs. Our services are designed to foster independence, enabling individuals with disabilities to live, work, and recreate within the community setting.
