My relative likes her apartment and she has made friends . The dining room in their community is a constant source of complaint--long wait times, food served cold or not as ordered, preferred meal choices served every day of the week and then not again for 2 months. They take issues to management, to no avail. If it was a restaurant, it would be closed for lack of customers by now, but alas, residents are required to purchase at least 20 meals a month. Further, it is unethical that they continually have fund raisers to encourage elderly residents to donate their money (receiving $600,000 in a recent year according to the IRS 990 form available online) for the care of "unfortunate residents who have run out of money", yet their 990 also shows millions in income over expenses.

The community is clean and nice. The staff and food are great and they are truly attentive to the people that live there. I have several clients at Oak Crest Village that love it. They have beautiful apartments, larger than any other retirement community in the county. This community has the largest square footage for independent living in the area.

Both my parents were residents of Oak Crest Village before they passed away. The whole community was so nice and everybody was very welcoming to my parents. The apartments were more spacious then any other retirement community that we visited in Baltimore County. It was a topnotch community and I would recommend it for your loved one.

We're very pleased with how things have gone with clients that have moved into Oak Crest Village. It's a great place, the community itself is clean, well kept, and just nice looking in general. It also has a great layout for those with memory issues, there are no branching hallways, everything leads towards the central common area. We also like that it really feels like a "community", not just a facility, everyone is very friendly. They also do a excellent job with the food! It is high quality, well balanced, and well portioned.

Oak Crest Village is a beautiful independent living community in Baltimore County. They also have assisted living and nursing care if you need it. They are is a great, safe location close to shopping and a lot of dining options as well. The elegant surroundings provide a backdrop for the many activities that residents participate in.

These folks tried to keep the room deposit money after my loved one passed away. You don't want to deal with these folks. This place is not recommended.
