In the short time since this organization has been established, I’ve watched the founder work tirelessly to promote the mission and make connections throughout New England seeking support for this endeavor. The November 11th Foundation has already been able to provide fresh produce to veterans in need and has secured the commitments of individuals and businesses to posture for a next successful growing season. The founder, David Wilkins, had developed some very creative and thoughtful ways to engage supporters to champion the Foundation’s endeavors. He is the exception; one of the few who is making his ideas come to fruition and fulfilling his desire to give back to veterans in a meaningful way. He is a hero.
