Causes: Food, Food Programs
Mission: Nourishnc provides supplemental food assistance to identified food insecure children in 13 public schools in new hanover county, nc. Our program fills the gap between school and home. We currently feed in excess of 2000 children on weekends, school breaks, and summer vacations.
Programs: To supply supplemental food assistance to identified food insecure children. Nourishnc is currently providing food to 450 children daily in 23 of the 43 public schools in new hanover county, nc. Since its inception, nourishnc has provided more than 1 million meals.
