Mission: The mission of northwoods pregnancy care center is to affirm the value of life by providing a network of care to those experiencing pregnancy-related crisis and by compassionately presenting biblical truth resulting in changed lives to the glory of god.
Programs: The center was opened on december 17, 2012. Fund raising is ongoing and there were many fund raiser events in 2017, baby bottle campaign, community days, banquet, etc. The focus of the center has been to counsel clients having a pregnancy-related crisis. Pregnancy test were made available to clients, peer counseling was done, a "earn while you learn program" was put in place to furnish baby clothing and supplies for expecting mothers, a bible study called "forgive and set free" is being set up, many volunteers have been trained to assist the center, many forms of networking have been established to bring in clients needing assistance, community awareness of the center and its mission is ongoing and the center is in the process of establishing an ultra sound process so clients have a chance to see their baby in the womb. There were over 24 volunteers with over 2,111 hours of volunteer time in 2017 and 113 plus client visits to the center.
