Programs: Bald eagle exhibit - in 2017 nwtf began funding for eagle passage: wings of hope, a new exhibit coming to northwest trek wildlife park that will provide a sanctuary for bald eagles unable to be released into the wild due to injuries or other disabilities.
david e ellis conservation fund - the northwest trek foundation endowed the david e ellis conservation fund in memory of deputy director, dave ellis, who passed away suddenly on july 17, 2012. Dave spent 28 years managing the park and its formidable animal collection customer service was of prime importance to him. The foundation established this fund for the express purpose of funding endangered species, animal health and animal housing projects.
the foundation supports conservation, education and animal enrichment programs that emphasize the importance of our diverse wildlife and the need for responsible conservation for future generations.
