As a volunteer for 3 years, I've met lots of interesting people as I've helped seniors with iPhone and computer problems or given them a ride to an appointment. I like the flexibility--each week I figure out when I'm available and then see what requests match my schedule. I've also helped organize programs and networked with other volunteers at programs and activities. It's also great to run into people I know from NNV when I am out walking.
