Mission: Identify and develop educational and business opportunities for minority business enterprises (mbes), corporations, and public agencies that result in stakeholder revenue growth.
Programs: Advocacy - held monthly networking luncheons with guest speakers and panelist discussions regarding pertinent business developement issues and programs. Developed mentor-protege program.
outreach - conducted membership recruitment through tradeshows, buyer town meetings, national conference, quarterly newsletter, internet marketing opportunities and seminars.
other programs - expand business opportunities to minority firms, encourage mutually beneficial economic links between minority suppliers and the public and private sectors, and promote minority business developement.
