Mission: Support infant death prevention & grief support.
Programs: Safe sleep - the prevention & education program includes a safe sleep initiative that gives cribs & safe sleep kits to families free of charge. These materials are distributed through a network of medical & professional agencies throughout the northwestern united states to families with the greatest need. Additionally, our staff gives training in various areas of infant death for involved professionals & the general public.
family support program - the family support program provides information & emotional support to families who have suffered the loss of an infant child. Services include telephone support, a trained network of volunteer "grief companions," a newsletter & continuously updated literature, a volunteer speakers bureau, culturally appropriate educational, outreach & community awareness events, with an executive director who represents the organization at local, state & community meetings.
