Causes: Agricultural Programs, Food
Mission: To carry on experimental research work in connection with the control of diseases, insects and fertility of soil problems of any and all agricultural and horticultural crops. To work in conjunction with washington state university and it's experimental station, the state department of agriculture and all branches thereof to coordinate the efforts of research workers and select the type of work which shall be done to provide the facilities thereof.
Programs: Grants were made to washington state university to fund research on a variety of crop issues including weed control, soil and diseases.
