Northside Naples Kiwanis Foundation is an exceptional organization, filled with people of all ages, backgrounds, business professionals and retirees. This diverse group of dedicated men and women have just one united purpose: To help children in need, both individually and in large numbers. From helping supply one classroom teacher with much needed supplies for her children , to helping several thousand homeless and near homeless children with individually chosen back to school clothing and school supplies to get them off to a good start. For over 30 years this club has held Christmas events for thousands of children and their parents, supplying meals and gifts for everyone. The joy each member feels when helping needy kids or sharing the joy of philanthropy with volunteer students is far more fulfilling than the time, talent and treasure members offer. This club is simply outstanding.
Serving children is Kiwanis everyday, not just during special events or fund raising. As a member of Kiwanis for 32 years this year, I find great satisfaction knowing I make a difference in 203 children's lives. Every Kiwanis member represents service for that many children. That's why we need more members, volunteers and people that enjoy helping children around the world as well as around the corner. Here is one of our K-Kids reaching out to those in nursing homes during COVID-19.

I have been a m ember of North Side Naples Kiwanis for 10 years and am a Past President of the organization. North Side was chartered in 1984 and began serving the community immediately, a founding Jack Silk along with an Immokalee citizen began a project of providing a hot meal for migrant workers at Christmas. Today that project is our signature project and has evolved into giving presents to children at Christmas and even Santa and Mrs. Claus attend. We have continued with the meal and have entertainment and other activities for the children.
We are involved in the school system with our Terrific Kids and K-Kids program in the elementary school, Builders Club in a Middle School and three (3) key Clubs in our High Schools.
We are involved in other community projects such as Thanksgiving Baskets of food to needy families, working with Meals of Hope with food distribution every month to needy families, our Christmas In July project which provides clothing, school supplies and extra stuff for school children and we support a teacher in the school system with supplies for her class.
More recently we started two (2) Action Clubs, which help adult developmental challenged persons. Also, we help when disaster strikes and families need assistance.
Our club is built on an abundance of TEAMWORK and our motto is "IF EVERYONE DOES A
LITTLE, NO ONE HAS TO DO A LOT"
Hopefully you will consider our organization for a grant. Thank You, Jim Dougher , PP
I love to be a member of this awesome nonprofit foundation. Northside Naples Kiwanis does so many beautiful things for Children. All Members are volunteers. Great experience!
Northside Naples Kiwanis cares for the community's benefits for all children. Projects are designed to help homeless children, hungry children, single parent, supports school activities for elementary, middle and high schools to teach community services. Kiwanis supports children all around the world. We support Meals of Hope and work at the food truck.
I have been a high school Key Club advisor for the last 12 years with Northside Naples Kiwanis, and during that time I have had the privledge of mentoring young adults and helping them become aware of their community responsibilities. We guide these young people with training in public speaking, organizational skills, leadership skills, and in building community partnerships. We are also able to offer the Key Club officiers with scholarships to assist them with their college education. They are a blessing to our club members as we also learn from them! I cannot say enough about the wonderful young people we at Northside Naples Kiwanis have had the privledge of working with these last 12 years!

You see them everywhere; selling snowcones at local festivals, reading to elementary school children, handing out water at charity walks, or Trick-or-Treating for UNICEF. The young people you see doing all these great community activities are members of Key Club. As a long time Kiwanis Advisor for Key Club, I am always amazed at their commitment to serve others. These young people are so full of positive energy, genuine willingness and sincerity in donating their time to community events, that it is truly inspiring. They willingly give up their Saturday mornings and evenings to help with community events such as Spooktacular on 5th Avenue, the "Autism Speaks" walk, and our annual "Thanksgiving Basket" project for needy families. I am so proud of their desire to help young children have a better tomorrow! The Kiwanis Club of Northside Naples proudly sponsor not only three high school Key Clubs, but also two middle school Builders Clubs, one elementary school K-Kids, one Aktion Club, and a Terrific Kids program! Mentoring these young people give us hope for the future of our country!
I, Joseph Cofield, President Constitution For The People, would like to share one of the most moving movement of our 2018 - 2019 school year. After following Hurricane Irma and other disasters across Florida and the entire nation, I must say that I am so thankful that the Northside Naples Kiwanis Foundation, Inc. cared enough to help fund our Constitution Project with $750.00 and equally important putting our project on their Northside Naples Kiwanis Club website.
The impact of this act of kindness is truly priceless. The contribution of $750.00 made it possible for 750 deserving fifth grade students to receive a personal copy of the United States Constitution Booklet. The kindness did not stop with the 750 deserving students but rather as well as make a positive difference in our Mission: To give each 5th grade student in Florida their very own copy of the United States Constitution Booklet.
As you can see from the attached pictures, the Constitution For The People, Inc. is striving to make a difference in the lives of our children.

There is no feeling like helping a child in need. Regardless of the community you live in, there will always be those children who somehow "slip through the cracks" and do not have the proper clothing, school supplies or love needed to prosper and grow. The Northside Naples Kiwanis Club is a group of volunteers who strive (every day) to improve the lives of these kids through their continual fundraising and giving back to their community. Volunteer with this Kiwanis club just one time, and you will never be able to "wipe the smile off of your face."

I was a guest speaker. The meeting was so much fun and so interesting, with people talking about so many upcoming events in which they were helping children, that I joined the club. The first experience I had with Northside Naples Kiwanis Foundation was helping with their annual Christmas day project "Christmas in Immokalee". 3-4,000 impoverished children and adults were fed, given holiday gifts, and had family photos taken -- their most precious gift in many cases. I took many photos that day to share with future volunteers. It was an honor to meet these wonderful guests at our event, and a privilege to be part of the hundreds who have volunteered in one capacity or the other for over 30 years in this event.
As a former teacher, I was looking for volunteer options that helped children.
Northside Naples has programs that help all ages of students and in many different ways throughout the school year. They have clubs in schools that help children develop confidence, learn to volunteer, and gain many skills that will enable them to become successful adults. They support Meals of Hope and other nonprofits which address other childhood needs in the community. I have seen first hand their Christmas in Immokalee celebration which provides gifts, photos, a meal and has other fun activities to brighten needy children’s holidays. They are also involved with Christmas in July which is another event that helps needy families with school supplies, clothing items, and other items that will give a their kids a good start toward having a successful school year.
Great club, Great people, Projects help many children and adults who are in need. This club supports, supervises and encourages several kids organizations that are connected to Kiwanis International. 3 Key Clubs (high school) Builders clubs and K kids clubs. Monthly during the school year we identify 2 students at one elementary school as Terrific Kids and Showcase them and give them gifts for being Terrific Kids. We have a signature project Christmas in Immokalee for Migrant worker children and have been feeding them and their parents, give out toys etc. Have been doing this for over 30 years. Whenever a need is presented to us, we find a way to fill it.
Northside Naples is the absolute standard of Kiwanis clubs. My family has been involved with them for over 20 years. I've personally seen their incredible growth, passion for everything, and overall love from every member. They are a family. These amazing people dedicate their time to hands-on helping. It is beautiful to see. I'd nominate them a million times over if I could. I believe in this club and all that they do. You cannot ask for a more compassionate organization of people.
For several years, we volunteered to work at Christmas in Immokalee, a project of Northside Naples Kiwanis. We were so touched by the heartfelt joy and thanks of the recipients and the comradery of the participants, last year we decided to join the Club. We feel privileged to be associated with an organization who does so much good for the community, especially the children.
The Northside Naples Kiwanis Foundation helped the Chokoloskee , Florida community after being severely affected by Hurricane Irma. The club members immediately went to work to provide water, food and diapers to residents of the area. Members also helped with distributing food to the residents.
