Mission: A strategic partnership in which northland healthcare alliance links rural healthcare providers for the purpose of providing quality supportive healthcare education, grants and collaborative efforts for its members. Members contribute dues to support staff that provide education and guidance for the efforts described below. The programs developed provide extensive benefits to members and provide much needed guidance to help them in these areas.
Programs: Grants assistance - northland healthcare alliance work with members to assist them in the development of expertise of grant writing and assists in grant writing endeavors. The grants assist mostly the rural facilities to help them to be sustainable, provide education to their staff and continue to fulfill their missions to serve healthcare in rural areas.
health information technology - northland healthcare alliance works with members to offer guidance and education to staff to manage the complicated issues that affect healthcare delivery in the technological world. Staff can provide assistance in solving information technology issues that confront rural providers that do not have the resources to solve technical issues.
care coordination - northland healthcare alliance works with the elderly to assist them to better coordinate the malaise of healthcare issues that confront seniors as they age in place. This work provides education to the elderly to help them to stay healthier, to remain more independent and to be able to follow multiple sets of instructions that they are given from providers to manage their care. Staff works individually with seniors to review and then instruct them on what they can do to follow the directions of their healthcare providers.
other program services include income from a related subsidiary as well as administrative revenue related to the organization's exempt purpose.
