I love that Northfield Montessori not only provides safe care for my kids but it provides whole-person education for children ages 6 weeks-6 years. My son came home yesterday and told me that his preschool teachers were starting a unit on emotions. He was able to identify his feelings and give examples of when he feels angry, scared, or happy. I think this is an incredible, valuable lesson for a 4 year old. Additionally, my son is learning to read, my daughters learned basic sign language as infants, and they all know their colors and numbers. Most importantly, Northfield Montessori stresses the importance of being a good community partner through its partnerships with other non-profits in the community. It's so important to us that our children learn how important it is to treat others with dignity and respect and Northfield Montessori has taught them this.
