Causes: Arts & Culture

Mission: Northern Westchester Center for the Arts began as a grass roots program in a little schoolhouse in Golden's Bridge almost 25 years ago. Today the Center serves thousands of families and has grown to offer year round classes in dance, theater, art. writing, and music as well as summer arts camp, preschool programs, arts for the physically challenged and an extensive outreach program. Serving the northern part of Westchester County, southern Putnam County, and Fairfield County in Connecticut, NWCA is the largest multi-arts center in New York State. Its mission is to educate people of all ages, cultures, abilities and income levels in the arts, through art education programs and multidisciplinary cultural events and performances.
