I'm Emmanuel, a college student studying Nursing at Tri-C, and I am inspired by mental health issues for teens and youth because I am a survivor of the menace, whose story and impact have restored hope to countless young people. I will like to can I volunteer as a way to contribute to the great impact of this organization.

Hi, my name is Delores Simpson and I have had the opportunity to receive the benefit of attending a special speaker meeting at Nora geared towards making persons working with the addiction community become more aware of what addiction recovery needs were and opportunities to reach out and help. Also I have been able to attend and share at in house meetings there to help the women doing the Nora treatment program strengthen their recovery and it helps me to maintain mine. The Nora non-profit has also been there helping me with food assistance during this pandemic. Nora is a well rounded non-profit that is a great help to my life.
Shout out to a fantastic team.

Since moving to Ohio a year ago, the most encouraging aspect of working at NORA is the, and quoting, committed professionals, board members, volunteers, and consultants who bring a vision to life and create value with their skills, passion, sweat-equity, relationships, creativity, grit, and endurance. It is “human capital” that crafts strategies, goods, and services that meet the community needs. Funding programs that help develop diverse emerging leaders, investing in the people who create, manage, and sustain the programs and the organization, help build a better bench of support for their teams. Making things better for vulnerable people takes people with the skills, persistence, and experience to work together to find solutions. This all starts at the top.

I have been helping with the food distribution since May. In my work capacity I do not give direct services to clients. This meets my goal though of serving others. It is important to be a measurable part of the community. Each time I hand a bag to a person I can see genuine joy on their faces. We are solving an immediate problem, and they know this and express their appreciation.

I work as a Peer Supporter for N.O.R.A, They are a great organization who really cares for the community and their clients in a whole. It is my belief that N.O.R.A goes above and beyond when it comes to the care of their clients. They are very professional and friendly.
