Causes: Education, Parent & Teacher Groups
Mission: The exempt purpose of the northern hills parent teacher organization fund is to provide financial assistance to northern hills elementary school. In order to provide financial assistance, funds must be raised in a variety of ways. An additional exempt purpose is volunteer assistance. Volunteer programs would not exist without the funds raised through special events.
Programs: Professional development, teacher grants & media center-professional devleopment is provided to teachers. Additionally, all teachers are allocated money to spend on their classroom. The media center was provided streaming educational program ability. Additionally a sound system was installed. All students benefit.
volunteer program services-volunteers provide help to teachers in the following areas: supply & copy room, music program, art programs and the annual statehood celebration. All students benefit.
landscaping & campus improvements: year round landscaping maintenance is provided for the grounds and the playground. Additionally, a slide was added to the playground. All students benefit on a daily basis.
