The founder and director is a PREDATOR. He was recently fired for sexually harassing many of the women volunteers and staff. He was drunk 90% of the time including working on animals while drinking, driving the company van with an open container and drunk, offering alcohol to volunteers while they were on the clock, and leaving narcotics open and unsupervised. After he was fired his Dad and Wife (the two most powerful people in the org besides him) decided to bring him back despite the wishes of the entire staff, and so the board and entire staff has quit. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS ORGANIZATION

Northern Colorado is so lucky to have this organization! As a volunteer who’s been involved hands-on with several animal non-profits in Philadelphia, where I used to live, I’m continually impressed at how such a small organization is able to do so much with so little. Training and management of their volunteer team is top notch, which speaks volumes. Beyond that, the staff are incredibly knowledgeable, clearly care about each other as well as their work, and are always willing to share what they know with their volunteer base as well as the general public. NCWC is, in a word, awesome.

Northern Colorado Wildlife Center is a state-of-the-art facility with a wonderful founding/directing team and staff. The knowledge and care for native Colorado wildlife is fantastic, I’ve been very fortunate to learn under the staff and other volunteers. Their passion is intoxicating, and I’ve witnessed top of the line care for sick, injured, and displaced wildlife here.

I have brought in small abandoned animals and ncwc rehabilitated them until release and updated me on there progress when asked. I have since joined as a volunteer and love supporting this charity. Saving and supporting the lives of our native species

I’ve volunteered here for over a year and the team is amazing. They do great work and are always happy to help. I’ve learned a ton while volunteering here and I always look forward to going in every week. The community there is welcoming and so fun to work with! I couldn’t recommend them more for education, resources, and (of course) wildlife rehab care.

Northern Colorado Wildlife Center has allowed me the opportunity to explore a new passion of mine for teaching and learning about CO wildlife. The care and compassion they have for every new patient that comes in is an absolute honor to observe. The facility is small, but that doesn’t stop them one bit! Every patient gets treated wonderfully, without disturbing their wild-ness. I love this organization because it is a group of caring people, working to help animals thrive, and what’s better than that?

This organization makes a positive impact in the community. Their passion for wildlife and the environment is showing through their rehabilitation efforts, public education and community outreach.

The amount of compassion that goes into the care of each animal is touching. This rehabilitation center doesn't discriminate when it comes to our wildlife. They value the life of every patient from the tiny mouse to the large deer.

Over the years, I've had questions and concerns about wildlife. Whenever I've reached out to NCWC, they've always spent the time to access my situation and give me great advice. They are a huge part of the northern Colorado community and are an important organization for our wildlife in need.

We are truly grateful to have such an amazing and dedicated team of wildlife experts as a resource in our area! Kate held a fantastic presentation to our whole neighborhood about winter birds in Colorado and shared many wonderful tip on how to help our birds through this difficult time of year. Kudos to the whole team of dedicated animal lovers that really make a difference in our community!

The amazing people at the rescue have always answered my questions in a prompt, knowledgeable way. I never feel silly or nervous to call. They are always very respectful and kind. They always thank you for reaching out on behalf of the wildlife they work so hard to protect and take care of. Truly an amazing organization with amazing people. I'm so grateful to have them in the community to take care of the local wildlife and educate people. I can't say enough good things about them!

Beyond dedicated team making an invaluable difference for Northern Colorado. No one else provides the services they offer in our area, and the need just keeps growing.

I am very grateful to have the opportunity to both volunteer and work at Northern Colorado Wildlife Center. Everyday I come in and learn something new and get to hangout with passionate and knowledgeable people. I am really proud of how we try our hardest with each individual patient that comes through our doors, and how we put our brains together to come up with individualized treatment plans for each patient. I enjoy being a part of an organization that understands the importance of community and educational outreach. I’m very excited for the future of our nonprofit and the opportunity to help even more animals and people!

Northern Colorado Wildlife Center is an organization that has always strived to go above and beyond for the wildlife patients that come to the facility. The facility also is a place that values educating on the care of wildlife in a captive setting to the volunteers and interns that have chosen to donate their time to the organization. But, also educating the members of the community on how to coexist with our local wildlife. You can trust that they are doing everything they can to help the animals that are brought to the center.

They provide superb, compassionate care to every animal who comes to them, and they're committed to educating the public about wildlife and the issues they face. They provide essential community services - and they do it without city or other public funding! We realize how fortunate we are to have access to an organization like this when most places in the country do not. Worth supporting with your time if you're looking for a new volunteer gig. If you can manage it, worth supporting with your funds, too.

Northern Colorado Wildlife Center is a truly awesome organization filled with people that live for wildlife. They go above and beyond to give every life that is brought to their attention a fighting chance. When humans encroach on habitats, NCWC provides community education so people have the tools to live harmoniously with their wild "neighbors". They also head community improvement projects and educational classes to all ages!

NCWC stretches every penny donated to them to accomplish amazing rehab success stories. Their success rates are amongst the best in their field!

I love volunteering for this organization and supporting them by being a board member. The center is dedicated to education and helping the community to learn how to interact with wildlife in their area.
They offer a wildlife rescue service at no cost to the community. This allows our community members to contact a wildlife rehabilitation specialist to come and recover the animal allowing for more immediate care.
The center has a robust volunteer community where the volunteers are hands on with the animal care, daily operations and client interface. This experience allows for greater volunteer involvement and support.

I found an injured garter snake in my yard after mowing. I was so glad to learn about Northern Colorado Wildlife! I was able to bring the snake to them and they were able the help him recover! They were so kind and caring

NOCO wildlife center is an amazing place to volunteer. They provided me with an endless amount of learning opportunities to gain skills and experience in the rehabilitation field. They truly care about every single one of their animals and strive for the highest quality care. I fell incredibly lucky to even get to watch the amazing work they do, let alone participate.
